Argh, why why WHY do all the "pro" players ALWAYS send out their first worthless Voidrays and reveal themselves like that in every single game? If he would've waited for 4 voidrays and 2 phoenix before sending them in, he could've ended the game on that initial harass. I've been watching your casts for a while now, and no matter what the initial harass is, they always seem to ruin themselves by going too early with just one unit. Whether it's reaper, hellion, or voidrays they all do it wrong.

At times I feel like HoN is ripping off of LoL, in more ways than one. LoL are the original DoTA creators, I think. Plus, blizzard steals the general design of champions from LoL; such as the caster champion, steampunk champion, etc.

I personally only played LoL so I can't compare, however I do have two friends who tried out both games. Both settled on LoL in the end, but had good words for HoN - I think they both liked each game about as much as the other, but eventually picked LoL over HoN because they had more friends playing that game.

The differences between both games seem small. Only fanboys would swear by one of the two games exclusively, it would seem - or maybe they just exaggerate the importance of small details.

@firei11 Oh, to complete my thoughts : don't listen to people saying HoN is "harder" and the "real thing" and LoL is "for noobs". That's like saying Brood War is hard and SC2 is for noobs because it has less of a steep learning curve. The only difference is that HoN is aimed specifically at hardcore players, so it "feels" harder and has more overt complexity. However, high-level LoL is also a very deep and complex game; the required skillset is just slightly different. In the end, it's even.
