It may have said scratch "resistant" I don't remember perfectly. But the apple website said something about the screen being one of those two things. @Brandwhore well after needing to get about an ipod a year for the pasat 6 years and seeing just how many people spend a day at the genius bar for problems with their stuff, i dont think apple makes a good product. and apple does not use gorila glass. gorilla glass is a triple hardened glass made by corning glass. apple didnt want to pay corning so they developed a sub par replica. gorilla glass doesnt crack easily. and iphones crack easily. but it just goes to show how little apple users know.

Apple products are very expensive yes, but they also pay you back with the best quality pieces you will ever own. The glass is gorilla glass. GORILLA GLASS CAN BE SMASHED, CRACKED, AND SCRATCHED. The only reason anyone has every had major complaints about apple products is because of one single iphone 4 design flaw which was fixed soon after with a software update.

not really sure what that means, but ive been "rockin a naked" droid x since july and have dropped it many times, and the rubber corners have absorbed everything and came away with nothing. no scratches on the glass either. apple makes shit. keep trying to back urself up tho. they do it purposely so people will have a reason to buy another one for 600 because the glass isnt covered under warranty. get it through your thick head...

go to motorolas website. they purposely designed my phone with rubberized corners to absorb shock from a fall, and put gorilla glass on the bitch jsut in case. as a result, ive dropped my phone caseless on concrete, and there isn't so much as a scratch. and if there is glass breakage... it's covered. apple sucks, they don't care about you, they fuse their batteries to their mother boards in most of their products to force you to pay them more, they put shitty glass in their products, standard...
