I take the blame and I don't use God's forgiveness like a credit card. The reason you are able to "go on as we see fit to do" is because all citizens defer some things to the state for the collective good. I was even able to make enough in my chosen (Mason) career path through the 90's to provide for my family but Bush and his hispanics moved in and my job went south.
