I'm glad you like my cut :) It's really cool that you put so much time into it, and it really shows. Keep it up. Thanks so much for the positive comments and i can't wait to see more progress from you in the future.
How long did it take you to perfect the whole thing start to finish before you had it ready to film and post to YouTube? How long did each individual part take?
well, the first part, if you go to "The Impulse Cut - Tutorial shown to the right by xxGOBxxBLUTHxx you can see all of it, took me only a couple seconds to learn.
Step 2 in his tutorial took me just a minute to learn, it was easier than it looked (To me),
Step 3 trying to spin that part of the deck WITHOUT droping the cards was very difficult for me it took me several days to get it to where i wouldn't drop the cards,
Then step 4 the closer, took me several months. I asked him for advice and he basically said just practice and don't try them both at the same time try them individually
Which I was very inpatient so it only took a few days for me to get mad and try and do them together and then when that didn't work I just stopped and got pissed off
Over the past few months I've been trying them both indiviually then when I was finally able to flip the deck in my left hand high enough and the right amount of times WITHOUT dropping cards, i tried them together and ended up with tons of cards on the floor
Then I realized a little trick I could do, because I can do the part with the deck in my right hand naturally, if i just only pay attention to my right and time it just right, I would finally be able to do it, really last night when I recorded that and put it on youtube was the first time I ever got it down and I have been practicing for several months
Thank you for the story and the detail. It always interests me about the amount of time and effort it takes to get something perfected to the point where you can film and post it. Actually, I think that interests me more than learning how it's done. Are you at the point now where you could do it perfectly everytime, blindfolded, or would you need months more practice for that?

@jihad4realniz Just practice a lot...that's what I did and I still have problems doing it. Repetition is the key.
