This man, is a great drummer with incredible groove. Very very solid! So glad to see a guy with A ton of chops, just hone in on some solid pocket grooves, and teach all of us that being a great drummer is all about being solid time keepers and having a nice musical approach behind the kit! Ahhhhh I'm so pumped right now :)
@JTdrums1 I agree with that Terence is an incredible drummer, and that solid time and nice musical approach is very important, but I don't think that the drummers function is always to keep time for everybody else. I think time is constructed of a web by everybody's time in certain circumstances, especially improvisational situations. Tempo in other than pop music should be another dimension of music like in most music all over the world with room for emotion. See Billy Martin's Life on Drums.
