  • It's fuckin funny how ppl think a certain art done with SPRAY PAINT is graffiti. that makes no sense. its just stupid.

  • really awesome stuff // what do you use to print the photo on such huge sheets of paper.

  • LOL 1:26 :p !!!!

  • graffiti is something u feel. get it rite.

sick stencil. keep up the work. i enjoy watching ur vids.

  • hey wat do u use 2 keep the stencil down u know those dots u put on the stencil ho do u make it come out so clean

  • it looks like plastic black tacks...

  • @Chejuny36 i duno about him but i use spray glue so it sticks to the wall but after you can peel right off =]

  • @Chejuny36 i believe they're weighs, or magnets to keep the stencil down so you get a perfect line when you spray

  • you dont use spray adhesive?

  • my thoughts exactly! i just posted on another of his vids bout it....weirdness much

  • I don't use spray advesive, I smaal weights ( made of metal) to keep my stencils down. you could also use small stones.

  • @alro16 You could also put a sheet of metal underneath and use small magnets

  • No, I don't use spray adhesive. I use smaal weights (madeof metal) to keep the stencils down, you can also use small stones for that

  • What are those little things you keep picking up and putting down between layers? Are you pinning the layers down?

  • hay how do u print ur stencil tht big cuz ive been wanting to do somthing like this

  • Man....I don't care how you spray it... however, the question I am asking is HOW do you cut it?

  • just with an exacto knife...

  • what do you use for registration marks?

  • how to you dou the less dark areas?

  • How'd ya do it so fast without smearing it?

  • I use montana gold cans, they dry whitin seconds, so you can paint the layers directly after each other

  • where can you get montana gold cans?

  • online unless you cans find a store around you that sell. i live in LA so there is like 20 or so that carry it. its expensive i have seen it for as cheap as 6.20 a can to 10 plus

  • wat is i...tell me and ill go

  • graffiti site..

  • ...duh hell dat wuz?

  • greenjedmoney,

    we can smell your cunt!

    you should wash it

  • how is this a tutorial?

  • by seeing what he is doing :o

  • that doesnt make it a tutorial, numb nuts.

Tutorial - a class in which a tutor gives intensive instruction in some subject to an individual student or group of students.

what you see here is a demonstration.

  • thats how you learn the art of graffiti, is demonstration..

  • yes, thats one way to learn. but that doesnt make it a tutorial. when you were in school, did you just watch what the teachers did? or did they talk and give direction?

  • i live in oklahoma, i failed 8th grade because all the teachers did was demonstrate and gave you a book and 1-75 evens. That was it..if you teach someone step by step your graff art then..well..youll need to make a new style..

  • participation....

  • depends on how you look at it. Some learn from watching others steps, not neccasarily stealing their handstyle, but how the other artists handles the can, stays in sink with the paint coming out, how to see places in a different view, like, one guy sees a plain old warehouse, the other sees that warehouse as a fuckin art gallery, just begging for his work.

  • there is 3 types of laeners , people who learn by listening , other learn by watching , and the others learn by doing

and the wearehouse shit ur talkin bout , wtf? any graff writer sees good spots all over the place , and stencil arts isnt graffiti , its a separate thing

  • technically, stencils are graffiti if you put it on a wall.

  • no , graffiti is a type of art , if u put a stencil on a wall illegaly its just vandalism.

not graffiti so know wat ur talkin bout next time dont be like thouse idiots that get confuseed between graffiti and drawing/writing shit on a wall

  • Look up the definition of it, no nvm i will. "Graffiti (singular: graffito; the plural is used as a mass noun) is the name for images or lettering scratched, scrawled, painted or marked in any manner on property." Dont be one of those idiots whose misinformed on the art of Graffiti, especially when youre trying to tell me not to be an idiot..

  • just shut the fuck up and leave me alone u nerdy wonker , i wont even bother readin ur comment , quit wastin time doin stupid shit

  • lolz, im not nerdy, or a 'wonker' ive heard of wanker, but thats not me either. You did bother to read it, or you wouldntve called me nerdy, you went off me using google to find a definition..so im automatically a nerd to you. Dont tell me you wont bother reading it when you already have. Im not wasting time doing stupid shit, im showing you that you are wrong, its ok to be wrong man, im wrong somtimes too..goodbye.

  • reading "look up definition" is all i needed , and u are a fuckin geek cus u correct peoples spellin 4 no reason.

    nd u are wrong

no matter wat ur wrong and dont boter makin a fool of ur self any more go and scuicide or get killed.

people who defined graffiti are idiots , because they obviously dont understand wat graffis about. it mite be wat u say to rich faggots but to writers graff isnt scraping a word on a wall with a rock

  • amazing!

  • Hey I was wondering what you use for weights in the more detailed areas like eyes etc?

  • looks like thumb tacks to me

  • you can use anything mate it doesn't really matter, as long as its heavy enough to not get moved about and you dont mind getting a bit of paint on it

  • man you got sopme great stuff

  • Really nice. If I have time these days I will try a big stencil.

  • what do u use to print your stencils larger then letter size?

  • Lovely piece of art...

Can you temm me what the song is on the video?

  • thanks mate

the band is called ''zero 7'' I don't know what the name of the song is.

  • Cheers dude! Keep up the good work :)

  • hey, it's called Throw it all Away... just downloaded it.

  • Do u use montana paint?

  • yes I do

  • PLEASE REPLY TO THIS, lol I think your art is amazing man! How do you get the image (stencil) to come out so well? I use photoshop, threshold but it never comes out any good. Any advice? Please man! cheers

  • practice practice practice. cheers!

  • Willietx,

You need to start by cutting out the part of the image you want to stencil. This helps alot, as the levels of the background are not included when u apply the thresh hold.

You can also try just adjusting brightness and contrast, or adjusting them both before applying the threshold.

There is many many ways to make stencils in ps, all of them give a different sort of look, i use diff styles for diff pieces....

  • Cheers man. I'll just have to keep on trying.

  • I'm going on vacation right away here, but I'll be back in a week.

Message me then to remind me and i will make you a screencast walkthrough, showing u some of the processes I use.

    Cheers

  • aw wicked cheers man! I'll mail you in a week

  • Good tehnique. Good example.

  • nice man nice!

  • Wie is dat toch, die je aan het greffetieen bent;)
