  • @HeroFlame Hi... look, I'm sorry but in it's most basic sense, that's the way I personally see evolution. Yes I went to High School, University and now I'm a teacher. I love Science and all of the created world. Even though humans ruin much of this planet, what is left untouched testifies to Awesome Being who created this planet.

  • This is making fun of the bible! And when you make fun of the bible you make fun of God! this isn't true at all! the bible tells you good things like Moses, Jesus, St. Helena, and more! Please stop making these videos. I can't see these horrible things!

  • @SongWritePro The bible is the most immoral and barbaric work of fiction ever pawned off as reality. It was written by people who were far less competent and far less knowledgeable than an Afghan warlord today.

    Sorry my friend.

  • @SongWritePro It's your blood thirsty bible!

  • This video made me hungry.

  • YEAH GO GOD! *sigh*

  • Let's face it: anyone who believes in an invisible, telepathic super-being is clinically insane.

  • @mikefromwa Hi, true it does take faith but, my Atheist friend wants me to believe that I came from a blob in the muck that over billions of years morphed into a human with a brain, heart, lungs... Come on - to me it just sounds just ridiculous. I would rather believe that you were created intentionally. Wouldn't you? No malice intended.

  • @y2cow4me: "Come on - to me it just sounds just ridiculous."

That's what people said at first when they were told that the Earth wasn't flat.

  • @mikefromwa I can simply look into the sky, see the clouds following the spherical contour of the earth, and conclude that it's round. Or go to a high mountain looking toward the ocean, and note the curving horizon of the earth. But really, from a little blob, or goo, into a human being. And I am called nuts for believing in the Creator God? Seriously, a tiny blob into a human vs Creator God.

  • @y2cow4me but yet you believe everything was made by some one in the sky? Yes you are nuts....

  • @murraybeans123456 Look, I'm not saying YOU are nuts. Man you can call my faith nuts, that's okay. So, how did you come to be an Atheist. I mean, what convinced you? Sincere question if you're willing to answer.

  • @y2cow4me This is gonna be hard with character limit. I was an atheist before i even knew that there was a word for people who didn't beleive in religion. My first experience of questioning religion was at school when we were in religious education, i was baffled at the stories and could not beleive how unreliable and coinciding they were, what annoyed me more was that every person around me was absorbing this information as if it were true. character limit wont let me write any more.

  • Oh how I love the funny, crazy-ass, bible stories!

  • I read the christian bible as a kid .... and the violence and gore in horror movies didn't even phase me because of it, I guess that's a good thing. Seriously, I was "how is this movie too gory for kids?" with each one.

  • Did somebody really just attempt to justify this by stating that it wasn't elementary age kids but college aged? Talk about missing the point. And talk about weak cop outs. What a joke. So they called the guy bald. Sicking two bears on them makes up for it, eh? Two insanely violent bears. Instant X rating from the MPAA!

  • I found this tale intriguing after I learned more about it. Apparently this is just the second part of a story meant to teach a moral. Elisha mentions earlier that towns that praise the Lord will receive miracles, but ones that don't will loose their children and be left with no future.

So first, Elisha visits a town that praises God and so he purifies their well. Then he visits a secular town where he curses them and bears eat their kids.

The moral of the story is quite clear, then.

  • @FrankLightheart Right. As always, don't defy Yahweh or he will fucking kill you!

  • @FrankLightheart It certainly is. "God is an insecure psychopath and so are the people who work for him."

  • @SesshReincarnated Civilization certainly has come a long way since those times.

  • 2 Kings 2:23-24 is not an account of God mauling young children for making fun of a bald man. Rather, it is a record of an insulting demonstration against God’s prophet by a large group of young men. Because these young people of about 20 years of age or older (the same term is used of Solomon in 1 Kings 3:7) so despised the prophet of the Lord, Elisha called upon the Lord to deal with the rebels as He saw fit.

  • @MrJgkeeling Ah, that makes things clear. Using your free speech should be punished by getting ripped apart by a bear. That's justice!

  • @MrJgkeeling well me and million of other athiests are actively moking god daily and he ain't done shit about. Ohh but I guess thats just gods "mercy" on us. I truly must feel sorry for you though. To go through your life believing and condoning the biggest and most atrocious lies ever fabricated.

  • @MrJgkeeling this event also took place during a time period where the average human only lived to about 30 years, so 20 years old would make them anything but "youths". Ones of such an age would have likely been able to overcome the bears without 42 deaths in the process as well, in fact I'm sure of it. Also why did god need for his prophet to curse them, when he was watching all along? Killing people isin't a good way to get them to worship you if you can't do it yourself.

  • @MrJgkeeling They still died a horrible death for laughing at a bald guy.

  • The King James Version has done us a disservice by translated the term as “children.” The Hebrew word can refer to “children,” but rather more specifically means "young men." The NIV, uses the word “youths.” Second, the fact that the bears mauled 42 of the youths indicates that there were more than 42 youths involved. This was not a small group of children making fun of a bald man. Rather, it was a large demonstration of young men who assembled for the purpose of mocking a prophet of God.

  • @MrJgkeeling god was the one who destroyed our language if I'm not mistaken. That makes the mistranslation gods fault, which also makes him an idiot. And makes you an idiot for believing in it. Ohh by the way, how were these "youths" supposed to know he was a prophet of god if god didn't tell them. god must have wanted to kill them from the beginning, which would also make god evil.

  • The first non-sequitor...

  • WHAT THE SHIT!?!??!?!

  • You would think an all powerful god would just turn the other cheek. But i guess sending bears to tear the little rugrats apart is alot more fun.

After all, they were only children, sometimes children do this.

  • Interesting video. What can you say. When it comes to punishment and discipline, the biblical perspective is completely infantile. Talk about god with supposedly infinite powers, yet, a completely shallow complex.

  • are you completely retarded? If there is a gang a 42 teenagers chasing down an old man and ridiculing him none of you think that is a problem? we have this kind of thing happening today and it is very scarry and disturbing. I am sure all of you would just want a nice spaking for a large scarry gang of punks harrasing you while you are walking by yourself down some road. morons

  • @hellbindercda is that reason to kill them?

  • @hellbindercda Lol, so you're supposed to turn them into bear food?

  • @hellbindercda lol obviously you need to send two bears to murder them.

  • @hellbindercda "And he went up from thence unto Bethel: and as he was going up by the way, there came forth little children out of the city, and mocked him, and said unto him, Go up, thou bald head; go up, thou bald head."

How traumatizing it must have been for this man to be mocked by "little children". Good thing God was there to set bears on the kids so that they could be torn apart one by one! What a loving, benevolent God.

I think we know who the real moron is here.

  • @hellbindercda Of course it would be wrong... but I you can call upon the power of god, your first idea would be to send down bears to kill them??? God could have done many things if he was omnipotent... like making them good, giving them instructions, sense of responsibility, respect, a good social condition so that they would be grateful toward society and not mocking it.... God could have teleported the prophet away, or the teenagers... nooooo! He killed them... WHAT? o.O

  • @hellbindercda um, some kids teasing a man for being bald is "a large scary gang of punks" that "chased down and old man"? And even still, is it ok that they are ripped apart by bears? and if you have biblical faith, then those kids who met their fates by bears have been and still are and forever will be burning in hell. what a loving God we serve huh?

  • it was an unrully gang of teanagers.. like a comon gang today.

  • @hellbindercda The passage reads "little children", so that debunks your "unrully gang of teanagers (sic)"...but let's assume you're right and it was teens, the best possible solution god could come up with was to have them killed?? The things a theist will justify to cling to their beliefs

  • Anybody else notice the significance of the number 42... Clearly an act of God.

  • This is it! It is the ultimate question for which we have an answer.

How many children must two bears dismember for making fun of a bald profit? 42!

  • @StuffedCrows lolz

  • @StuffedCrows YES. Oh shit, the universe just reset because we now know both the Ultimate Question to Life, the Universe, and Everything, and its Answer.

  • @jedimasterpickle3 I guess the world was gonna' end in 2012... Damn have I been wrong!

  • @StuffedCrows Well, it IS 2012, just not December 21

  • @jedimasterpickle3 They can be off by a few months I guess

  • @StuffedCrows 11 months isn't a few XD

  • @jedimasterpickle3 It's better then a few years XD

  • @StuffedCrows I swear, December 21 this year is going to the best day ever. We will all be able to proudly double over laughing at the people who thought the world was going to end. And then the inevitable NEXT end of the world/Rapture will come up. And when that day comes, we will continue laughing at them.

  • @jedimasterpickle3 The answer to all those questions is.......42 :D

  • @andystruth Those weren't questions but sure, why not? And I don't think the answer to that question is 42 :P...at least, not right now...

  • Christianity is so contradictory. Laughably so.

  • Please make more bloody bible vids

  • Well, we do the same thing to nonhuman animals, we should get the same done to us

  • her voice is sexy though.. available for phone se....... uh nevermind (c= LOL

  • @SomedaysDreamersBC funny I was thinking the same thing

  • @nintendo768

Then according to you, he failed, since you said, (and I quote): "It was imperfect MAN..."

Yet you just said god created man to be perfect. Boom. It's called Logic. You should try it sometime.

And I thought god was supposed to be All-Powerful, but he's not, since he failed.

  • God is real. I made fun of God at a friends house a while ago. Later that night, on my way home, a mosquito flew out from the woods, landed on my arm, and sucked some blood out of my veins. I didn't really notice at first, but after a while It really started itching. Coincidence?

  • @Darkeons Coincidence.

  • There you go again. It was imperfect MAN that did that, not the perfect GOD.

  • @nintendo768 the curse was made in the name of the lord. your god could've denied the bear delivery.

  • @nintendo768 if god is so perfect then why would he create someting imperfect?yep.. logic fail

  • @TheJohny815 He did create us to be perfect.

  • @nintendo768 um... you either just contradicted yourself or you imply that god failed therefore that making him imperfect

  • @TheJohny815 God created man to be perfect in that he is to be ignorant of sin. When he found out what sin was, then imperfection came.

  • @nintendo768 how can not knowing something count as perfection?and for a being thats perfect should be imposible to become imperfect and also if god din`t wanted humans to know sin why did he put that tree in the garden these things have no logic answer

  • @TheJohny815 Because true love is chosen. The tree was placed there to give to option to resist. You cannot force anyone to love you.

  • @nintendo768 if that was a choice he gives to us then why he interdicted us to eat from the tree? And why he punished us after we ate?and why he created a talking snake by the way?

  • @nintendo768 i`m sorry but i`m a man of reason and there is not enough reason in the bible for me to believe god exists and the bible was`t writed by a human, the book is full of imoral stories about that god in the old testament he killed people who didn`t listen to him,if he created us this would be like killing your children for disobeing why should i folow him even if he existed?

  • @TheJohny815 How about this you dipshit, your god endorses rape, incest, infanticide, slavery, abuse, hatred, is vain, selfish, petty, ignorant, cruel, and cannot perform simple tasks such as continuity and avoiding hypocrisy. Congratulations, you worship an imaginary friend who's a malevolent asshole.

  • @cavemantiger um.. i`m an atheist you got the wrong person nintendo768 is the christian

  • @cavemantiger o and about god i agree with everithyng you say.why do people still worship him after this?

  • @TheJohny815 yeah sorry for the mix up, i have a few wisdom teeth pulled earlier and my brain hasn't fully recovered heh... as for why we still have god... think of the human race as one person. as a child, the human race did not understand things. there was a monster in the closet, santa brought magical gifts, if you hid under your blankie you were safe. as we got older, we started thinking about things. if we looked into that closet, there was no monster. (cont.)

  • @TheJohny815 so why were we still scared of it? why did our blankie protect us from the things we couldnt explain? blankie is special. safe. we keep it close. now, think of the human race as two children, the older one being a atheist humans and the younger, religious humans. both have their blankies, both fear the monster int he closet, both blankies protect them somehow. now, the older one realizes the closet is empty and the blankie is just a bit fo sentiment in cotton form. (c.)

  • @TheJohny815 big bro sees that he's been silly, theres nothing to fear if you learn to understand it. no need for blankie anymore. but the little bro? not old enough yet. still scared. even though big bro says theres no monster in the closet he still holds blankie tight not ready to let go. still afraid of the unknown, wanting security.

well, thats it. we just need to grow out of it. as the human race ages, we'll throw our blankies away. but we're still too young, not ready yet.

  • @cavemantiger hahahahahaha indeed your example is very good, some childrens will never figure ou that the blankie won`t protect them from anything and won`t be able to open the closet and see theres nothing there

  • @TheJohny815 Yeah. I guess all we big kids can do is shake our heads and continue with our lives unaffected.

  • @nintendo768 the bible sound like a complete fairy tale and i don`t even need to use facts provided by science and reserch to prove myself that the bible is wrong just my reason was enough.perhaps you should think about that too!

  • @TheJohny815 or maybe we should worship you for just saying something? I mean the christtians do it all the tyme! this was joke btw. Im actualy on your side.

  • @Ulrich1943 hahahahah indeed i mean why should we believe in a book writen 2000 years ago more than in science

  • @nintendo768

what option? forgetting that adam and eve had no knowledge of good and evil hence could not make moral decisions so placing magical tree was a cruel excuse to fuck them up. btw who put talking serpent in the garden of eden? who created that serpent?

    it was a setup

  • @ptica11 The tree was there for they can decide to resist god for true love must be chosen. That snake was Satan and god made him.

  • @nintendo768

when u r omiscient there is no such shit as free will. logic 101.

  • @nintendo768

if biblical god made serpent ( i read entire idiotic bible and there is nothing there that would make talking serpent = ha satan) that means that is was a premeditated crime. your god is 1 evil monster.

  • @nintendo768

how can you make a moral decision if you do not know morality? adam and eve had no knowledge of good and evil. again logic 101

  • @ptica11 They did not know it was wrong to eat of the fruit. They knew there is god, he said don't eat the fruit. There was no "It is morally wrong to eat the fruit". It is hard to put into words.

  • @nintendo768

    again LOGIC 101!

if I told you to solve a differential equation or i will torture you forever and I did not provide you will appropriate knowhow HOW CAN YOU POSSIBLY do it!

adam and eve did not posses appropriate knowledge to be able to differentiate what is right and what is wrong

see Hitler ordered his followers to do immoral shit yet following orders was no excuse for what they did

same here how could adam and eve be able to discriminate without appropriate knowledge?

  • @ptica11 Exactly, and there we come to it; morality as a social construct derives its legitimacy and efficacy from cause and effect, and the preservation of natural rights in the context of human society. Religion's morality is arbitrary; something is considered moral or immoral just because "daddy said so".

  • @RebelWrestler45 wow well said .

  • @nintendo768

"It is morally wrong to eat the fruit"

... or like saying walk to someone who has no legs. does it make any sense?

shit. its a kindergarten level logic! are you mentally challenged?

  • If you actually read the bible, like the parts they were mentioning, take a bible turn to that page. You be surprised.

  • Which stretches more, skin or elastic?

Skin. It says in the Bible that Abraham tied his ass to a tree and

    walked 40 miles.

  • @ComedianFromNASA Please direct me to where in the Bible it says that. I disagree.

  • @HeWillPrevail

Its a joke you pee brain,

    ass=donkey. -_-

  • @ComedianFromNASA Apart from the fact it mocks the Bible, that joke is actually pretty funny.

  • @HeWillPrevail

Ass=Any of several hoofed mammals of the genus Equus, resembling and closely related to the horses but having a smaller build and longer ears, and including the domesticated donkey.

I cant believe you took that seriously. -_-

"If a man has a stubborn and rebellious son who does not obey his father and mother and will not listen to them when they discipline him, 19 his father and mother shall take hold of him and bring him to the elders at the gate of his town. 20 They shall say to the elders, "This son of ours is stubborn and rebellious. • the christian spin suggest that the translation error might say they are young men and not children. Some sources also suggest that maybe they were bassically a gang who meant to do harm. This is just my research of how it is explained, hard to pin the bible down on anything.

  • @ptica11 Pro. says to get wisdom, and Ecc. says that sorrow comes with wisdom, because the more wisdom you have, the more you see of this horrible, marred world. As for 1 Co., when it says "the wisdom of the wise", it is talking about worldly wisdom, not Godly.

  • This video is awesome. The funny thing is that being raised Catholic, I never heard of these stories or many Bible stories. Later, I tried the Lutheran religion. Still, they avoided the crazy Old Testament. How can anyone take the Bible literally? And, if you can't, doesn't that pretty much call the whole thing into question? Personally, I'm agnostic probably because of my religious upbringing. Without that, I'd probably be atheist.

  • I just want everyone to know that God hates the world and just about everyone on it...God has a score to settle with human beings for murdering His one and only innocent Son and then rejecting Him. This planet and all of it's inhabitants are on the verge of God's wrath followed by death, hell, and eventally a lake of fire. The only escape is to reject evolution and higher education. then put your faith in the Bible and ask Jesus to save you from what you deserve.

  • @MATTWITT1976 Actually, I believe God loves the world. He sent his Son to save them, knowing he could be crucified. And it he truly hated the world, he could make it a lot worse for humanity. And, I don't believe the belief evolution is wrong to be necessary to salvation. Romans 10:9 says, "If you confess with your mouth, Jesus is LORD and believe in your heart God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." It states nothing saying that our beliefs about origins matters to our salvation.

  • @HeWillPrevail sorry but "For God so loved" is past tense 1 john 2:15

Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life,is not of the Father, but is of the world. 17And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof:but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever. The best way to love people is to warn them of Hell
