I was wondering whether to buy the xperia x10 or the nokia n8, especially my friend who owns the xperia tried to persuade me to buy the n8, but I'm starting to see the wide variety of apps available for the x10.

@afaiaz Hey there, sorry for replying late... was too busy at work...

To be honest, I have x10 and a close friend of mine has n8. his camera is 12M but, he doesn't have a autofocus and the quality isn't as good as mine.

X10 runs android (maybe not the latest), n8 runs symbian... symbian can never beat android... I think earliest android OS is better than the latest symbian...

I would go for x10 in this case...or i would go for any android phone than symbian.

@lilfili7 go on to your android market app and look for an app called z4root download it, it's free btw, and it's literally a one-touch-app, but I have seen one with an option to temporarily root it or permanently root it.... so.

@GenVidTh Sure, I use Launcher Pro (I purchased it for lik a dollar or something, can't even remember)... but the free version is as good as this, except the free version doesn't have the facility to resize widgets on desktop. You can download it on my website in the description...

@CRAZ39 I believe someone at XDA found a solution for that, but I wasn't ok with applying that. 1GB ROM is actually enough for my stuff. Officially, installing on sdcard will be available on froyo. By the way, why don't you try and install froyo on your device?

@JEDGUECOB you first need to have a file manager to access your memory card on your phone(you can download one on the market, just search for "file manager" and you will have tons of options)... once you're done with that, just go in your sdcard (memory card) and tap on the game you wanna install. hope this helps?

1. download them from market and install it right away

2. download and install them from websites

3. download on your pc, and the copy to you memory card and then install it...

@lucilinburhuc666 I think I know what your problem is... I think you have to downlaod a file manager from the Market (just search for File Manager). then you will be able to see your memory card on your phone, which means you can click on any app/game to install it... Did that help?
