One of the problems with Africans is they place a lot of focus on Academic skills, leaving vocational skills behind, yet both are needed. Many Africans have degrees, but no jobs

@bumisworld What I don't understand about the concept of global 'economic growth' is, what is the long-term vision? Is the whole world destined to become a sprawling metropolis, with all animals restricted to parks and zoos? Does EVERYWHERE need to be able to sustain humans, grow crops, with electricity and plumbing, etc? Why do people assume this is how is SHOULD be? Tribes thrived without the need for all these modern trappings so why is western culture & technology now a model to be demanded?
