Satie's teachers had accused his piece lacked "form". He returned to see them giving them the titles "Songs pear-shaped" and so on.

@Slopies This piece exists for 2 hands too, as the 7th gnossienne, thanks to Ornella Volta's research work (piano sheet edited by Salabert, 2006)
