They did another tune around same time and as good as "Sleepwalk". I forgot the name on that one. It was a hit I believe. Any clue what I'm hitting at?
He's the real guy... Santo is his brother...I did an Elvis act in the 80's with him....he's johnny Maestro's best friend....and I never WAS sure what they CALL the guitar he plays....but HEY...it's a Fender...can't be TOO bad...
A poor copy of the original...and opportunistic blatant misdirection, leading the public to think he was the one who played the steel guitar on the original, when in fact it was SANTO..

No, kanjaan is right: the song playing up to 3:22 (well past 3:09 IS Europa (by Santana). Gato Barbieri plays an incredible sax version of it (even with Carlos). THEN EbbTide comes in.
Bad Bad Bad on you - Santo Farina was the steel gutiarist and author of Sleepwalk, Johnny just strummed stndard guitar and in face they broke up because Johnny refused to develop his skills.
You are correct, Santo did play Steel on the original. But your facts are sadly incorrect about who wrote the song and why they broke up. Johnny's skills seem just fine to me. Are you a member of the Steel Guitar Hall of Fame???
excelente interprete de la guitarra hawaiana!!
