hey ppl. im tryin to breed my leos and was wondering if it would be ok to mark which side is up on the egg (to make sure it doesnt get turned) with a sharpie? a non toxic one?
@Reptyler14 i was thinking the same thing. when i first got mine she was like do what eva u want with them because she does not no a thing about it. then she heard me fixing to get a new 1 and breed em.then she said tht. my cuz said the same exact thing u said. thanks btw.
me and my causins were about to breed our 2 but my mom wont let us because be she says they have to be certified and it cost tons of money to have them certified. and also she said it is a law. is that true?
@UselessMonkey326 it starts around febuary and ends in november so if you want good results drop the heat around late december earlier january for a few weeks then put it back to normal in febuary and then introduce ya male
@xxTuBeStArxx acually breeding season is when it keeps getting colder and colder outside. it starts about the end of september and ends about febuary or march.my causin has had his leopard geckos for years and has breeded them many times. he said that to me.
@YoungMoney261 and i dont c are what your cousin says cuz ive read many reputable books from the likes of Ron Tremper and i think Tremper knows alot more than your cousin.
@RainboRaccoon my cauisn has bred his tons of time and he used to work at a place where they sell almost all leopard geckos. i have read alot of books about them. i started reading them about a few weeks ago.
if i get 2 male and female will they live in the tank together ? will they ever need seperating and how ofter will they make eggs if they are kept together ??
@fredthefanny You cannot put males together they will fight for territory buy you can put up to six females in with one male if you have the right size tank. I reccomend using 10 gallons for the male and then 10 gallons for every female you put in. So that would be 1 male and 1 female in a 20 gallon, 1 male 2 females in a 30 gallon, etc. If you keep your male and females in year round it is possible for them to develop a brother sister type relationship so they will not breed.
I suggest you keep the male and female in separate tanks and then in January you can introduce the male to the females and leave them for 1 - 3 weeks as said in this video.
lol you were close with the name but thanks noone got into that in 1 vid and all that stuff youve senn in my other vids those wre long ago i promise ill make an update soon

do you know how to ship them to your customers?
thespaniard47 1 year ago
how long have you had leopard geckos ??
dont breed them unless youve owned and raised leopard geckos for 2-3 years
your male and female must be in proper health and a good weight to breed...

@YoungMoney261 youve got it wrong... the breeding season is from febuary through to september. the period you have mentioned is not the breeding gap.
