Water: Korra

and it looks sooo amazing! The opening is narrated by Tenzin and shows a little scene with all of Team Avatar...I swear, I'm only watching Korra for the possible flashbacks and Spirit World visits with Aang.

And why would you be embarassed about watching the legend of korra. Judging by the track record of the makers this sequel series should be excellent.

@Z3kedog No, it did not air, but a few months ago the opening sequence was released (for about a day, and then Mike and Bryan requested that it be removed from all websites). And there isn't an official release date/release time period yet, as far as I know.

...I don't know where I said watching Korra was embarrassing. I'm sure it'll be a good series, but I honestly don't think I can watch it, I'll miss the original Team Avatar too much.

@KellyssoSexy I don't blame you. I know it's a "kids" show but to be perfectly honest the plot in this series is....incredible. This is without a doubt my favorite TV show because the plot, characters, idea of bending, just EVERYTHING is amazing and it provoked various different emotions from me while watching it which is why I find this series above and beyond entertaining. It's too sophisticated (yet it isnt)for kids to understand the artistic and creativity this show has, in my opinion. =)

It just be a shame if a fan of this series wasn't informed of the upcoming new spin off which, in my opinion, looks just as good if not better than this one and THAT is a bold statement since many sequels don't surpass the originals but you never know! One thing i know for a fact: The Legend of Korra will definitely be one of the better shows compared to most of the crap they are airing. (With the exception of Spongebob. Gotta love that yellow guy.)

Why does everyone call this anime? It most certainly is not anime, it's western animation at its finest. Not all cartoon features have to be Japanese to have decent plot points and characters, though I do agree anime has produced some of the finest fantasy stories ever created. The Last Airbender ranks right up there with them.

I'm not embarassed to admit that I am 20, and have watched this show and thoroughly enjoyed it. Although, I think The Legend of Korra ought to be more my age and tastes.

I remember watching previews for this show before the first episode aired. At the time, it didn't appeal to me. But I was bored one day and was able to catch an encore viewing of this first two episodes. I never missed an episode after that. In my opinion, not only is it the best animated series, it is also one of the best television series. I'm proud to say that at eighteen, I'm still watching it with as much enthusiasm as I had with a new episode.

And I can't wait for The Legend of Korra!
