  • 80% of those employed by the fur industry are Natives. Its a traditional way of life passed down generations the first Europeans that we lived in peace with traded with us for our furs. Attacking that way of life hurts Natives more then anyone. Targeting the Newfoundland seal hunt which is a species that has never been endangered when there are 20 species of seal in need of help else where is proof that it is cultural bias, racism that motivates your hate not a concern for seals.

  • @Eddythebeast666 you're wrong

  • @AlexOvie8jr Would you believe Paul Watson if he told you himself?

Everything Green Peace & The Sea Shepard's is based upon is sensationalist miss information that they have publicly admitted to.

Right here on Youtube Barbara Frum - Paul Watson Interview, 1978 CBC

Nobody was giving them money to help with real environmental issues or endangered species but the money poured for the cute seals.

  • Tha annual seal hunt is sick and pointless. Hunters hit them in the head with clubs and shoot them in the face just for a prize. Thats just uncivilized and disgusting. And on top of that it wastes millions of tax dollars. Seals are just killed for a profit. They are gonna become endangered too because of effin humans (but not the ones who actually LIVE off the meat.)

  • It makes me cry everytime i see Videos like that... even when the Seals shouts in a cute Voice... they just kill them with a Stick... its just... not right.... this Video is not sad but watch watch?v=PrCvDh3GQHU this made me so fucking angry and sad.... i just cant tell...

  • is there even anything else to eat in inuit expect for seal and fish lol.

  • yes, caribou! Our number one food source today. I grew up on the coast of hudson bay with my grandpa. We ate seals too, my hunting clothing are made of seal from head to toe.

  • @NunavutMusic Its been to long since i've had caribou!(9 days)

  • well , its better than beating them with a stick.

  • HEADSHOT! Anyway Seal is on my list of what to eat in the world.

  • Inuit hunting is a very sustainable way of harvesting food, the seal population is barely affected by it and it has no impact on the environment.

That can't be said of the industrialised farms these days

  • torrak in greenlandic great. one shot one kill.

  • I'm a huge animal activist. THIS is not what people should be worrying about. Watch my video Inuit vs Commercial Seal Hunt and Inuit Hunters Code. Then, ask yourself if you should really be giving these guys a hard time. The only seal hunt protesting we should be doing is the one of the wasteful white man, of which I am one.

  • All right you animal activist. you don't like animals killed for food? what about your hamburgers? where do you think the beef came from? what about your bacon? We kill one seal to feed our bellies and you slaughter chickens and cows by the millions...

  • your right people don't understand that we need to feed our families, there are 26 million chickens killed in the USA every day, people don't understand that it's no different than killing a seal than any othter animal.

  • were u using .22?

  • its the same as killing anything else really

  • it's a way of life for them. there culture. whats your way of life?

  • Ignorant city folk who think they know what they are talking about. I challenge all city folk to try make a living in the arctic with out processed meat...they'll starve before long.

  • @nativebrother thats right... lol.... thats right!

  • @nativebrother But what about the annual seal hunt? They are just killed for a fucking prize. Not for food. Us "ignorant city folk" are talking about this, not the people who actually live off of the meat. And Im sure you guys could find more productive and civilized ways to catch them instead of clubbing them in the head.

  • @simonea214 inuit never club seals.

  • No one here in Kivalliq Region in Nunavut Territory ever uses clubs, we can never get close to them and if we do catch them off guard by foot, they try to bite so the best solution is quick kill for food and clothing. I still remember everything my grandpa taught me about seals, even in coldest winter temperatures here in Nunavut, seal meat is the best.

  • @NunavutMusic I'm having seal for lunch. We use harpoons, hooks or guns here. Seals are here for us all year round.

  • @simonea214 Last time I checked, no one clubs seals in the head. I can't imagine any good thinking native to hunt seals for a "prize". Shows how ignorant you actually are.

  • Great shot, not easy hunting in those treacherous spring ice-flows. Some people are just drawn into the hate Canada fling to have a cause; let people do what they do for a living, especially the Inuit. Animals give themselves to us humans, it is a part of the ebb and flow of life, this is easy to forget for city dwelling cause-hunters.

  • Um....seals *are* used for food. There's no cows in the Arctic.

  • dude its canadas not arctic, they do have cows but thats just a sport for them

  • The Artic is a part of Canada. There are no cows in the Artic because it's too cold and there's no grass up there. The seals are one of the main sources of food for the Inuit people as well as those who live in the Maritime provinces.

While the annual seal hunt *is* for the pelts, many of the hunters participating in it will also be taking and using the rest of the carcasses as well.

Please research the topic before making such comments. Thanks.

  • dude its canadas not arctic, they do have cows but thats just a sport for them

  • wow, you're pretty fucking ignorant. the artic is mostly canada - look at a map. and sorry but, cows don't live on ice. dumbass.

  • wow what a noob oviously u havent been on canada to see cows u ignorant noob...

  • we don't have cow's in the north, end of discussion

  • fuck you

  • they are food, so you go eat a dick you tree hugging hippie

  • your a fag, go eat a cock you tree hugging hippy

  • God GAVE the animals to you? God GAVE you control over the animals?

Can I see your proof please?

    Hmmm thought not.

To be honest, I actually haven't got anything against you hunting seals for food. It's no different to someone killing a cow or a pig for food.

But don't bring God or your culture into it. It's a necessity, not a God given right.

  • WHY can't you people leave those seals alone.. they are not even bothering you

  • sure you cant survive without them...SURE...go fuck yourself

  • Yeah you sound like you're nearly dying.... how the fuck are you on youtube? Money

  • ..sometime inuite really hunted just for clothing and food but nowadays these things have nothing to do with that..this is my short opinion about it. previous is a simply compressed version to people who butchers animals just for fun and take a delight in it.

  • This is during spring hunt so warm clothing isnt needed. I use my sealskin clothing during winter when it gets really cold between November and April of each year. I would start sweating if I used my sealskin jacket during spring and summer. I still eat seals as I grew up with my grandparents.

  • what is his nike hooded sweater made of? it's made of cotton.then why do people have to butcher seals for clothing and why do they promote and explain it under the banner of clothing as it can see in the title.a real inuit don't dress baseball cap and sweater like that they're usually wearing traditional Inuit clothing..this man with the shotgun is a simply hunter who sports..

  • fuck your mother crappy fucking shit

  • Dear YouTube friends: Because of a few cowards and parasites (sealers and Canadian Government Officials)we have to accept this seal hunting quietly. Not me!I will protest until I die.Canadians should be honest and stop this crime immediately.Otherwise, they pass life as criminals.PLEASE STOP KIILLING ANIMALS!STOP EATING MEAT!ThankyouAdemar07

  • go suck some dick you fairy tree hugging hippie i want to see you come here to iqaluit nunavut in northern part of canada to go and protest to my face

  • Dear YouTube friends:Dear YouTube friends: why don´t people leave animals alone?I`m vegetarian and animal lover.Canada,Koreas,Japan,Brazil,Thailand,andU.S.have been killing billions of animals every year.Sealers, please ask me,if you dare:Can you touch your children and wives with your seal-blood fingers?Do you buy clothes made of seal fur?(I think not, only the rich can do it!)WHO HAS NOT SOUL???GET A DECENT JOB LIKE MOST OF PEOPLE!ThankyouAdemar07

  • I think You are right and i feel the same way i would cry if i saw this i now want to be vegetarion and i am not going to stand for this. its so sad seeing them being tortured. I am going to send a letter to someome that is important and ask them to save all animals from being tortured. A thimbs up to you. Oprah should pay the gov. to stop this and make a law she has enough money dont she. Well i think she does and she should pay for those poor inasent animals.
