I really think that Lauren is funny and real in this interview but Kevin is not a good interviewer. He constantly interrupts her and it doesnt seen like he is actually listening to what she is saying. He is just looking for the next thing to say. Good interview for her though!

'The Kids Are Alright' was easily the best comedy they mentioned, and I didn't even like it.

Kevin's complaint about it was lame. No characters to root for? Gee, they can't all be 'Rocky'.

'True Grit' and 'Winter's Bone' were the only really good movies.

I think she should from time to time go on the internet and read how much everybody loves her. Her self-confidence would get a HUGE boost! She said in a couple of interviews, that she doesn't watch herself in movies/TV and that she isn't sure about herself, but she would only have to read this comments on here and would be convinced of the opposit!

His interviews are meant to be casual and bring out different stories/ sides of the interviewees than the audience is used to seeing. It is low-budget, yet Keven gets some amazing performers on here... why do you think he keeps getting such great people to interview? Because he's damn good!!

The fake breath vapor for faux winter movies drives me crazy too. I watch for it, I focus on it, and I'm taken right out of the movie when I see that awful stupid little wisp of grey. Perhaps people who live below the snow line wouldn't necessarily know it's unrealistic.

L.A. Times told us all how Winter's Bone ends, so I don't feel compelled to go watch.

Lauren Graham is a really great interviewee, comfortable and relaxed and well spoken and insightful.
