Were you at the Orange Bowl? Most seats were filled, yes, there were probably more Virginia Tech fans than us, but there were lots of KU fans there, I was there. In 2005, we filled the Fort Worth Bowl. You guys were chosen because you had 7 wins and we only had 6, it had nothing to do with the fans.
The upper deck at a lot of empty seats, and there is a reason why they kept showing the band instead of your non-existant fans. And fan support was a huge deal in the bowl selection.

Let's at least get a little perspective here. First the 2004 game. KU had not beaten KSU in 11 years. I think that is reason enough. Also, the KSU team was 2-2 at the time of that game. Who knew they would suck the rest of the way.

Ok dude let's compare bowl games. Has KU ever gone to a bowl two years in a row? No. Has Kansas State? Yes, 11 at one point. Has KU ever been to a Cotton or Holiday bowl in the decade? Has KU won more bowl games than Kansas State? Has KU ever been to BCS bowl before this year? Maybe you should think before you talk shit about bowls when all you have in one year.
