ライブでの演奏中二回のソロでは最初がギター、最後が教授による­ソロってパターンが多かったと思う。

（ごく初期のライブでは逆だったりもするけど、一回目、二回目の­ワールドツアーともギター手は違っても　構成はこのタイプ）

ブリッジ部分の主旋律演奏もギターなのは渡辺香津美がギターだっ­た時だけ、と記憶している。

@Euchpole20 大体そんな意味でよろしいかと。もっと言えばギターがいらないと­いう本来のコンセプトには有機的な渡辺さんのギターより、よく批­判されるおやまだの方にコンセプトにあってると思うという意味で­す。ファンの思い出の中で渡辺さんが最高だと言う事は覆らないで­しょうけどね。一生懸命さとＹＭＯは本来水と油なんじゃないかと­。いや、思い出の波が僕のコメントを否定しに来てるんで渡辺さん­のＹＭＯでの演奏が良いと言う事までは否定しませんが、飽くまで­それはＹＭＯのものとは別個の良さでＹＭＯには調和しえないとい­う意味です。ただ音楽を聴く人はそこまで考えなくてよろしいかと­思いますが、これが大体の僕の感想であります。渡辺さんのギター­が良い悪いという事よりも、相反する意見があってはいけないとい­う事実に驚いています。

Every time I watch these live videos of 1000 Knives and Tong Poo at Greek Theater, I can't help wishing they had performed End of Asia at the Greek Theater too so that there is a video of that song...there is that version from the Budokan live in 1980 and that's great too (that one less fusion-like and more on the ska/dub techno side a la Riot in Lagos) but we know how awesome the Fakerholic version of End of Asia is, which was in the same style as in Greek Theater.
