An excellent performance by this officer. Minimum speed is important as anyone with an IQ above 100 or so understands (apologies to the rest of yas). The officer properly identifies himself and his authority, states the law violated (minimum speed), his reason for enforcing it (complaints) and then, rising above the childish harrasments, simply enforces the law.
those guys are dumb for going down la grange road with a segway it is one of the busiest roads in the area but there is no minimum speed limit sign posted so they did not brake a law according to illinois laws. i have a friend that is a cop in that town and they really have nothing better to do there.

You may drive at the maximum allowable speed only under safe conditions. For safety purposes, a minimum speed limit may be posted along certain roadways. When minimum limits are not posted, drivers should not drive so much slower than the maximum limit that they interfere with the normal movement of traffic.

It's not the speed that's illegal technically, It's the dangers associated with travelling that slow.

I was thinking everything the cop said right before he said it. The fine fellow driving the vehicle never does address the question at hand: is it illegal to do what he is doing. It seems like he wants to steer the conversation in the direction of ethics but doesn't have the command of language/thought. The cop is a saint for trying to explain to them what they are doing wrong, rather than just give them their ticket and cuff-n-stuff 'em if they don't get off the road.

Cops are people so if you’re an ass hole as a person you’re an even bigger ass hole as a cop. Of course there are good cops too. So what do you to do about asshole cops like this. Well in this case you have a video so go file a complaint. No he won’t get fired but the complaint will go on his record and he just might get a reprimand this could prevent him from getting promoted. Get enough complaints and reprimands and he gets fired.
