Either 4x9 or 4.5 x 8 - I have two boards that are 4x4.5 that I run on. I Squeeze 4X10 if I separate and add "bridges", This one was 4.5 x 8 and used every bit of the 4.5.
Actually I have six blocks where the trains run and all three sidings are on on separate blocks.
I have an Atlas control switch to keep track of them. The diagram at the beginning shows the blocks except that the orange block in the middle left is tied to the red block; it is not separate.
The are all controlled manually. Since there is no way to run two trains at once, this can all run from one 90 Volt transformer
How big is this? 4x8?

I have that Hudson. It was my second Lionel set. The first was an 0-27 set with a 2-4-0 from the 70's.

Nice use of Old CDs.
I'll have to see how I can modify my single track loop with one of these.
