you dont charge katana with yari cav when your opponent (pom nonetheless) has like 6 units of cav ready to take advantage of your commitment

@elodens4 Colonel was out matched in every genre of units. Pom had more cavalry, more infantry, and same amount of bows as colonel. So Colonel had to either choose a better build with less upgrades whch he didn't or take any chance he can get to do damage to his opponent.

@PrinceofMacedon I saw when you got Shogun 2 Total War, on the videos you put out (I have nearly seen every video you have put out), and I am amazed how well you play even though you just got the game. But I guess when you are a hardcore fan of the game, then you do play the TW games pretty good. :)

If someone do critic him on some points he could have done better in any game, he'll immediately get blocked from the PoM channel.

I came here immediately after PoM said someone else put a new spin on commentary for a battle of his so I thought I'd leave behind my reaction. I really liked how you narrated and put your own previous experiences and tactical knowledge on the maneuvers used (although Colonel pretty much allowed PoM to take complete control). I really enjoyed the commentary, I hope you continue to make them.

@PrinceofMacedon Cavalry are quick to micro and move. So a feint charge to draw out yours would be enough to pepper them with missiles. So it's worth the risk for the purpose of delaying an inevitable overwhelming attack of your melee attack.

@ReflexCss You're right, they are quick to micro and move. It's exactly like RTW. If he switched targets, then I would've pulled back, and let my archers deal with his archers. Pretty simple. Because I saw no movement from his cavalry, I wasn't compelled to move my cavalry forward either. I bided my time and decided to swing to his wings. Had he moved them sooner, then I would've brought them up sooner.

@ReflexCss Posting wins is not a problem. Posting wins against noobs is. No offense to you or PoM, but this game was plain boring. Totally one-sided and one player hardly moved at all. Not worth watching.

Your time would be better spent doing commentaries for more interesting battles.

@ReflexCss If you were doing Med2 replays, I would gladly do so. Unfortunately, I don't play Shogun2 or Empire.

Note that I never claim I'm a better player than PoM or anyone else, nor am I disrespecting your work as a comentator. I'm just saying one-sided battles are not fun to watch. This is true for all games. There is a term 'ownage replay' and this certainly falls under that category.

I think it's funny that you don't even have this game, and you even admit that you don't know how the random matchmaker works, YET you called my opponent a noob. That's just ridiculous because he was more experienced than me.

@PrinceofMacedon Maybe I don't play S2TW, but matchmaking has been in RTS games for years, so I know very well how it works. CA introduced it very late in TW games. Avatar level doesn't accurately show the player's skill level (as you can't lose it), position on the leaderboards does. I'm sure you are, or will be after a few more games, positioned on the leaderboard higher than Colonel, as you clearly play better, no matter whose general has more chevrons.

A noob is a person who sucks and is new to a game. You are MILES away from sucking. Your opponent, (no offense to him/her), didn't make a move of any kind to attack you. He/she just let you come to his/her troops and let you make his/her moves (For example, you put cavalry on his/her flanks, and that forced your adversary to move his/her cav to counter yours, which wouldn't work due to your superior numbers). And yes, losing/winning gives you experience points. That said, he STILL has more experience than me in Shogun 2 whether he has lost/won. The point is: he's played way more than myself which means he has more experience. Doesn't matter how you define it, he has more experience than me in this game.
