  • Philippines lost with so many missed shot.

  • ang sama ng loob ni roberto,,pero ganun talaga,,parte yan ng laro,,ang matalo.

  • over acting naman si roberto.

  • Well after watching this entire match and its extensive collection of mistakes, I can most certainly assure ya that if there had to be someone with extensive experience and used to this kind of pressure in Roberto Gomez's place, Daryl Peach would not be be world champion! This is 100% true!

  • World pool Champion Still

  • LUCKY? world championship finals: 4:45 that's a shot of gods like strickland, reyes

  • Gomez is a bitch

  • Fuck u bald billiard pretender!

  • the agony of defeat haunts gomez but with his showing in this tournament, he will become a champion someday...

  • first, the philipinos jeer daryl.. then when daryl won they went up to shake his hands and not their own "superman"

  • 6:46 is probably the most awkward-looking bridge I have ever seen.

  • NANIGAS SI GOMEZ ! ! !

  • im thinking, wad if the cue ball touch the cue at the end after peach potted the 9-ball. dat will be an LOL. it came pretty close

  • They should either switch the game to 10 Ball or to straight. I miss the US Open Straight Pool Championships. Mizerak, Sigel, Varner, Balsis, Rempe, Crane, Martin...... They made the game funner. This 9 Ball is starting to irritate me.

  • each game is a unique mirror that reflects a player.

  • By the way, all you Snooker players out there, stop commenting on how easy it must be to do better, and join us pool players in match play and tournaments instead: we're really a happy-go-lucky community, and after all, everyone's entitled to come get themselves a bloody nose! :-)

  • OMG! Drops the cue on the table with the cue ball still rolling towards it?! Deserved winner, kept his error rate considerably lower than his opponent, one cannot even say he got any more lucky rolls, in this regard, the two really got about even. What a long match, my neck aches and my eyes are blurry just from watching it!

  • Don't be an idiot Daryl has proven time and time again the he has true talent, show some respect.

  • @msntopgeasr HAHAHAHAHA thats funny....

  • more respect for these 2 great players...

  • when u can miss by a foot down the rail and stil pot... joke.. cant do that on a snooker table... anyone in the top 16 would destroy the 9 ball tour... alison fisher... tony drago... steve davis post snooker career... even the american commentators say that O sullivan would destroy the game if he took it seriously....

  • carpetlol u got to have a great amount of skill to play nine ball also( a skill u probably don't posses).....and besides snooker is FUCKERY and very BORING..zzzzzzzzz.........9-ball is way more EXCITING!!!!

  • @carpetlol Then why aint they destroying it? Cause they can't!!!Thats fucking why. Tony Drago is the only male snooker player to win a major 9-ball title(2003 world pool masters). When your top "16" (lol) snooker players start winning all the major 9-ball titles then you can start running your mouth, I expect it will be a long long long time before you can run your mouth again!

  • at this level of competition, you not only need to have great skill, what you need is to have a great luck and the "pool god" must be on your side. Look at F Bustamante, his skill is phenomenal and exprience but he still can't win WPC. This proved that you need to have a good luck throughout the tournamnet. Guys, do you agree with me?

  • iyakin amputa...walang pilipinong iyakin kupal

  • The muppet in the crowd who keeps waving at the camera needs a cue up his bum.

  • stop the hate ;( be nice 2 each other

type 420 if ur high! OK

  • peach managed to get out of almost all snooker made by gomez

  • hope this year's event could be better than this one..

  • he wun b celebrating if the cue ball touched the cue =x

bt aniways, splendid work of skills, godlike placings x_X

  • thanks so much cuebie81, watched all 32 racks and enjoyed it so much, cheers for uploading ^__^

  • gomez purely lost because of the pressure, still wp and wp to peach. ty to cuebie81 for posting the entire match, i really enjoyed watching it. :)

  • JOB 38:11

  • I was wondering If the stick had touched the cue ball.If I was Gomez and the cue ball was clearly not headed for a pocket as in this case I wouldn't call for a foul. But if I felt there was any chance on cue reaching pocket...

  • btw sorry for the double post :$

  • i agree that was a foul, but perhaps disgression was shown? tabb was right there looking at him, there's no way she could have missed that. if the white had touched his cue, maybe it would have been a different story

congratulations to Daryl! nice to see fellow englishmen succeeding at this game

  • @andyhounslow I'll bet ya 250 to 1 odds that he'll never win another major title as long as he lives. He's like the chris moneymaker of the pool world. HAHAHAHA what a fucking joke

  • @plmijnygcrdzwaquyijo Actually, Peach, along with Appleton, Grey, Majid, Boyes and Melling won England the 2010 World Team Championship earlier this year. This is a major title. So your bet fails.

    $250 please.

  • @andyhounslow Thats teams dumbass....So what you probably meant to say was Appleton, Grey, Majid, Boyes and Melling won england the world team championship because peach forgot his lucky clover HAHAHAHAHA so your bet is the one that fails. $250 please....hahaha

  • @plmijnygcrdzwaquyijo I gathered somewhere in that badly written reply that Peach's team win with England isn't enough to satisfy you, for whatever reason. The point you're missing is that Peach clearly did not win this event on luck; given that he disposed of many top players (including the holder at the time, Alcano) on route to this tournament win. So like him or not, he's talented and deserved to win this event as he was the best player at it.

  • @andyhounslow If you think being lucky entitles you to a world championship to each his own i guess....I think it a fucking disgrace!

  • i agree that was a foul, but perhaps disgression was shown? tabb was right there looking at him, there's no way she could have missed that. if the white had touched his cue, maybe it would have been a different story

anyway, congrats to Daryl, it's nice to see a fellow englishman succeeding at this game

  • shit men let a english man win a pool tournament:P hehehe its almost always pinoys who is winnen al da toernament hehehee

  • we filipinos are da best in pool der is always a filipino in the final heheheheeh efren reyes the best in da world

  • @pinoy777 Fucking right!!! I loves watching Efren!! BY FAR my favorite player!!!!!!

  • a message to Roberto Gomez:

What is a man if he reach final and lose to infamous player?

The Book of Job from Old Testament said:

" I told it, so far but no farther. Here your powerful waves must stop".

  • hey man i love pool just as much as anyone but dont use gods word out of context

  • q bonito perdio por huevon

  • Mark Selby was world 8-ball champ in 2006, and runner up in the world snooker championships, but a match between the likes of Bustamante and O'Sullivan in pool and snooker would be awesome!

  • 5. Snooker is a completely different skill, and even within pool, 8-ball and 9-ball are different disciplines. All billiard sports should be treated with respect, but I would say that Ronnie O'Sullivan would be an awesome pool player, whereas Peach wouldn't be able to compete on the snooker tour (he was a snooker player but couldn't make it, so he changed to pool).

  • at least some snooker fans are reasonable.

in snooker, the shot is very difficult, the potting is extremely important.

pool, it is not about shot, more on position and safety and kick safety. without safety and kick safety you will lose because at pro level anyone can run out easy.

sorry, but ronnie is a terrible pool player. and i mean bad. as far as snooker players who are good at pool, steve davis is on another level than osullivan and white.

  • 4. It's a bit of a disgrace that so little was made of Peach being world 9-ball champion in the UK. I wouldn't have known, had I not seen the footnote on the Snooker page on the BBC website!

  • @iamnoangel2001 just goes to show ya everyone realizes what a major fluke it was for him to win it....no one cares about lucky winners!

  • Quite a few things to mention here:

    1. Michaela Tabb could have had a difficult call to make at the end, if that white ball touched his cue - that'd be a foul!

    2. Congrats to Daryl Peach, but the quality of some frames was poor from both men.

    3. Does Peach deserve a position on the GB Team? Well, his breaking was poor in all but two frames, so I wouldn't be inspired to play him!

  • No matter the stick touched the white ball or not, when Peach put his stick on the table while the white ball was still rolling, it's already a foul indeed. If I'm Gomez, I'll protest.

  • daryl..you are a tough son of a gun..you deserve it

  • Congratulations to Daryl Peach better luck next time roberto gomez .... rematch ????

  • Funny thing is, nobody really cares that he won in Britain. Here it is all about snooker -smaller pockets, a much larger table, basically a higher level of skill. In pool it seems the one that wins is just whoever makes the least mistakes.

Pool was invented to be a easier and shorter game than snooker so that pay per play tables could make more money - seriously.

  • Snooker was developed after / from pool.

I can see your point about the skill level in snooker being higher, but in 9 ball your safetys have to be absolutely perfect else your opponent will run out.

I'm sorry, but stopping your opponent getting to the table in 9 ball is far more difficult than in snooker - you have to constantly break and run out.

Congrats Daryl! Look forward to playing you on the GB9BT!

  • type in daryl peach in google, look at the second link. the myth of 'pool is easier because of pockets' is not even the point. pool at world class level is getting a shot on the break, safety, kick-safety, two way shots, and constantly playing at above a .900 level.

    snooker is pure shotmaking.

  • Snooker was played before 9-ball pool. I admire the action the pool players get on the cue ball, the control is amazing and there's certainly a lot of skill there. But it doesn't compare to snooker in terms of positional play and potting. In pool it seems whoever pots first wins the rack.

  • snooker is shotmaking and breaking clusters, whereas pool is safety and kick safety and strategy.

whoever pots first does pretty much win the rack, but thats IF you get a chance to shoot. thats why people safety, so you get absolutely no shot.

type in long dong foul in the search. you'll see a demonstration of the safety rule, you cannot scratch or you'll lose.

  • yet another comment that pits snooker against pool - i never understand why people cannot just enjoy both. i love both games, consider snooker to be more artistic and ultimately harder to perfect, but also admire the creativity and speed of the game of pool.

It's such a shame Daryl's win barely got mentioned in England, the magnitude of beating the Phillippino's in their own backyard, at their own game, should not be underestimated.

  • snooker being a higher level of skill than pool is a myth...

  • @red88alert i hope your joking

  • @red88alert haha dont be ridiculous. pool is great fun but to say snooker isnt harder is pathetic really, go and play snooker for real and then try and tell me that. great pool players who dont play snooker couldnt play at a professional standard but any great snooker player could easily play pool at a professional standard, and if you want proos look up- alex higgins (arguably the greatest snooker player) mosconi cup 95, and then watch him playing snooker and see how talented he was

  • @8down10 lmfao at u!!! XD you do realize that 9 ball isnt the only game in pool right???lmao and if that was the case then why arent all the pool championships being won by snooker players??? lol im telin u its a myth!!! id love to see a snooker pro playing and winning in bank pool or one pocket or even rotation!!! 9 ball isnt exactly the toughest pool game out there though it is still tough enough!!! inform yourself lmao!!!

  • @red88alert do you realise that you are an idiot? pool is played on a smaller table with pockets the size of buckets whereas snooker is played on a 12x6ft table with pockets just bigger than the balls. so essentially every pool game is easier than snooker, even bank pool, pocket and rotation. and yes you are telling me its a myth because you are either an idiot or you just dont want to admit the obvious. white almost beat reyes, and o sullivan beat strickland...

  • @red88alert ...so at least snooker players can play pool easily, eg white, o'sullivan, immonen, higgins and drago but you never see pro pool players in snooker tournaments essentially because they have no chance in snooker but snooker players do in pool. put 2 and 2 together to work out why

  • @8down10 lmao!!! what a pathetic response!!! u had nothin intelligent to say about the fact that theres more to master in pool lmao!!! ive seen ronnie play 9 ball trust me he is ok but wu chia ching had no problem disposing of his ass lol like is said why arent the snooker pros winnin the pool championships???

  • @red88alert there isnt more to master in pool, and ronnie didnt get his ass handed to him he put up a good fight. if wu chia ching played snooker against ronnie he wouldnt win a single frame. to answer you q. snooker players are winning tournaments eg. immonen, drago and ronnie, higgins and white have all won many games in the mosconi cup even though they dont play pool often. if pool is just as hard as snooker then why arent pool players even entering snooker tournaments let alone winning them?

  • @8down10 lmao ronnie got his ass handed to him dont deny it i know what i saw...mika is a pool player because he is dedicated to it just like drago...ronnie and higgins and white have some skill but it isnt world champion material lol and once again i remind your ignorant ass...9ball is NOT the only game in pool...efren reyes has beaten snooker players at their own game plus he plays all pool games and 3 cushions...snooker players dont have shit on that lmfao at u

  • @red88alert my ignorant ass? XD youve never even played snooker have you? XD so you reckon higgins and white cant play to a championship standard? watch these

    watch?v=M8tOuj3gQrw&feature=channel_video_title

    /watch?v=iqXxaC-W8pw&feature=relmfu

i know 9 ball isnt the only the only pool game but snooker is harder than all of them, even bank pool and one pocket, go and play it to see for yourself and you'll be surprised at how hard it is

  • @8down10 lmao at u!!! i have played snooker before i dont just talk outta my ass like u lol ur not even givin reasons why snooker is better ur jus sayin the same bullshit that all the other snooker cheerleaders say "its just better" lmao ive seen those videos but thas just 9 ball and maybe they can play with champions but they cant keep up with champions!!! and hell nah!!! u must be cracked out if u think snooker is harder then one pocket or bank pool lmao XD

  • @red88alert mate i did say why snooker is harder. massive tables and tiny pockets on which you have to pot more balls than just 9 like in 9 ball, or 5 in bank pool. btw a lot of people would say you're "cracked out"

  • @red88alert Dont be stupid... pool is ALOT easier than snooker

  • @jrpc2007 dont be ignorant...snooker isnt as complex as pool can be!!!

  • @red88alert how could pool possibly be more complex than snooker?

  • @JackHammond snooker is the same thing you fucking idiot, so is hockey, basketball, and many other games. Whoever makes the least amount of mistakes is obviously a MAJOR favorite win. Fuck that was funny....if I were you I'd start reading your comments and think about what your writing before you post it. You just put your foot right in your own mouth!

  • Congratulations to Daryl Peach. The only bad thing about him winning is that it gives the snooker snobs a chance to rub it in.

  • Finally someone noticed it! It's absoultely a foul! And no one noticed it or just ignored it. If Gomez was not so sad, he may notice this and protest it to the ladyref. Then he would get a free 9 ball and win the champ. It's happened all so soon that Gomez lost the mind and timing to protest.

  • lol.. isn't it a foul if you put your que stick on the table (without holding it) in wpc? the game was not dead yet coz the que ball was still rollin..right? earl stickland got fouled when he put his que on the table, i think it was on 05 wpc against a taiwanese guy.. but what the heck.. congrats peach

  • congrats daryl.. any one had a video of 1999 world pool championships.. pls upload it...thanks..

  • In the last rack, upon making the nine ball, Peach threw his cue on the table while the cue ball was still moving. What would had happened if the cue ball had contacted his cue? A "foul" that could had cost him the championship !

    Billiardly yours,

    Víctor Maduro (Panamá)

  • look at the rack 4, 11, 26 etc. does any of these sportsmen deserve to be the World Champion?

  • hey men your wrong the current 2007 world 8 ball champion is ronnie alcano he won it on feb in fujaira saudi arabia and for sure john higgins is the world snooker champion because its an all england league the world snooker are all english persons

  • yeah!I agree with you dude.. and finally Daryl should not be the winner. Although Gomez miss shots so much, Daryl even miss a lot too. If Reyes is in that final, I bet Efren will never allow Daryl to score even 5 racks....Why don't you go to US, Taiwan,Japan and some parts of Europe and ask, Who is your favorite Pool playe?? and they will answer: Efren Reyes.....

  • @AlTarik that was very well said!!!!

  • british man is current world snooker champion (john higgins), british man is current world 8 ball champion (mark selby), british man is current world 9 ball champion (daryl peach), says it all about GREAT britain!!!

  • peach is not a sportsman, bustamante win on that game!

  • The current WEPF 8 ball champion is Gareth Potts not Mark Selby . Selby Won that title in 2006.

  • oh yeah, sorry bout that, still british though :)

  • Actually, Ronato Alcano is the Wpa 8 ball champion.

  • Bad karma for a rude audience.

  • why are the commentes on EVERY vid always so messed up?! just be as polite as you are in normal life!

it's been a nice final! I enjoyed it very much! thanks for posting it!

  • Daryl Peach is the BEST otherwise he would have not won the championship. Gomez, too bad ... is just a bad actor.

  • @nizmanlee If there had to be a more experienced player in the chair then gomez...say efren reyes, or ralf souquet, earl strickland, alex pagulayan, etc. I would bet with anyone that daryl "flukey" peach would have lost by 5 racks or more...GUARANTEED!!!

  • I'm afraid Gomez wound kill himself...

  • I think he and Bustamante might be looking at the same rope at walmart.

  • gomez just beats his own self he is still too inexperienced

  • Fuck Daryl Peach....The bitch should stick to snooker....Son of a bitch.....

He spoiled the WPC 07 completely...........

  • Idiot

  • Peach is, for sure!!!!

  • I meant you, thanks for proving my point.

  • I knew u ment me.......Very kind of you

Peach actually lost to Bustamante.....it was just the fault of the judges......

  • did you even see the frame by frame? it was clear he fouled.

  • you must be blind not to see the 9 got hit first.

  • ha you sad cunt. usa/asia should be ashamed of themselves, england is SO small in comparison to their countries and No one even plays american pool over here, we still won the world title

  • I love the English, and I sincerely LOVE the UK but FUCK DARYL PEACH!!!

  • Hello Bitch. We stuffed you fuckers at your own game twice. No one in England even cared this bloke Peach had won. Yet the two Filipino losers cried like babies after they took a good beating from Peach.

  • Thanks again. I felt bad for Gomez, he broke down. COngrats to Daryl Peach. Superb mental toughness, He saw a weak Roberto Gomez and pounced upon him. I never knew how important mental toughness was until I saw two of daryl peaches last games.

  • This guy deserves it so bad ....
