  • What is your take now that they've been able to keep the existing system afloat for three more years and are saying in America that "recovery" is now in the works?

  • great vid

  • 'You can not serve and and mammon.' chose your side. Serve money or truth.. they do not mix. Believe me the leaders do know what they are doing..robbing the non-connected. • people by nature do what is bad and if they can get away with it some how they will just do it all the more. to think that govt is the source of our problems is just to not recognize the real problem which leads to a false conclusion of what will "fix" things. it doesnt matter if u call it govt/religion/private/public sector or what ever LABEL we give it. people will if they can do what is bad even if its just a few people in power it desnt take much bad to ruin any good in society.

  • Stefan, great info but where was the "what to do" part of the video.

  • Blood running through your brain, or out your veins...haha love it....you just make that up or what....peace

  • Between Nation-States and Globalists war will guide to humanity. Should be won

Nation-States ,,,if opposite Great Corporations and Mergers will take prisoner whole

Humanity. Absolutely Globalists should be hanged, destroyed and almost every tool

should be used, " Revolutions too"....First of all Finance,Security-Weapon and Petroleum Lords, using some Governments for establis FASCIST Adminitration. Wake up HUMANITY.......

  • I hate to correct you stef but there is nowhere in the bible where it states that this planet is 6,000 years old. Where did you get that specific number from?

  • ok I see it. So what do we do?

  • I`d like to hear more about this Stef. We need more details and of course the devil is in the details ;-)

  • thumbs up if u thought the video was about clinical depression! xD

  • It's devolved monkeys in suites that affirm my desires to want to be born a Bonobo. At least they can cooperate peacefully, and peacefully resolve conflicts.

  • "It's either your blood runs through your brains or out of your veins.. There is no other way." great quote (if I did catch it right), thank you

  • Ok...so the economy is heading rock bottom.....I understand, I tell people, I prepair. My question is WHAT is the solution when it hits bottom? What new system should we adopt that will work, be fair, and stand the test of time??? Or will the comming crash be so bad that survival is all we'll think about?

  • Excellent, thank you.

  • Bust the banks. Sell your shit, get out of your debt. Take all you have in cash, and buy gold and silver. The free citizens could then trade freely amongst ourselves. Those who try and use cash to buy our food or goods and sevices would starve....because their money is made of paper and ours is silver and gold. Free the people of the world.

  • well it's march 2010.. no depression yet.. still waiting....... let me know when it starts

  • @cds162

Me too....I was looking forward to this shit too....Peter Schiff and Gerald Celente and all the other professional morons were promising this apoclypse of biblical proportions....I'm....broken hearted, honestly.

Could these people just please give a deadline for when armageddon is going to happen? Is that too much to ask?

I mean, COME ON, if you're going to claim FUCKING DOOMSDAY is coming, you could at least put your money where your mouth is.

  • So what, if you/citizens/politicians etc don`t want to use their money anymore, it`s over.

Yes I agree, we should have a truly free market, i.e. laissez-faire, but I don`t agree it`s imposible to achieve.

  • Are you kidding, do you think the FED can control the money without the approval of the government?

Do you think the FED would be allowed to control the money if americans voted for the Liberitarian party?

  • Nammoo Do U think that: 1-the guv has any control over the fed? politicians/political process are Owned by the Banks/corps. 2-the Lib party COULD get elected? Politics is rigged. Fascism is a MERGER of Biz/Gov powers, if Biz was SO benevolent why would they sleep with the 'enemy'? They Co-opted the Guv and now own/run it. The Rich don't get rich by being hardworking etc but by EXPLOITING resources & the People they belong to. Who OWNS Earth? Exxon? WalMart? AgriBiz? Rupert Murdoch? Shell?

  • Yes, politicians/citizens could tell the FED/bankers to go fuck themselves, that`s a fact!

If US citizens actually voted for them, they could, i.e. there are candidates from the Libertarian Party that actually run for office.

But the citizens ARE by far the most powerful, politicians/corporations etc are at the mercy of the citizens/crowds/mob etc.

  • Lets say the Libs get controlling power. How long would it take before those who really call the shots tell them that their lives are at risk if they don't fall in line? Dont ignore the lessons of history, politicians are just puppets of the super rich esp. in corrupt Empires. True of Rome, England, USA & many others.

Dont forget who has the GUNS & Muscle to back them up & the fact that once this economy really crashes most citizens will be homeless, jobless & not focused on politics.

  • Time to organize.

  • If you want to organize I would suggest Googling Zeitgeist Addendum & Transition US. Self sufficiency is the way Gandhi did it & the only way to get free of the Debt Cycle. Money is made of debt & your labor is the collateral for that debt. You are a "Labor Unit" to the Bankers and Corps. Search for "Money As Debt" also. Very revealing stuff. Cheers!

  • Yes, Ghandi was an anarchist, just like Stefan. I`ve seen "Zeitgeist", "Money as Debt" etc.

I own property, have no debt etc.

Ergo, common/average people/individuals have alot of power, all they need to do is to take control, renounce the monetary system, it`s not rocket science, it`s only a little manipulation/group psychology keeping the sociopaths in power, all that is needed to stop them is a little information on how things are connected.

  • I have way too many reasons to fit into 500 words, I'll message you instead OK? Suffice to say that there can never be a fair playing field as the few who control 80% of the wealth will STILL control it in a so called free market & Corporations will still be corrupt. Hell, they collude with the Guv & are Just Peachy with using Murder for Profit. Are they going to become Ethical w/out guv or just collude w/ other corps & corrupt the DRO's like they did with the Guv? Character is Consistent!

  • @ nammoo89 .. you dont own any property if u ilve here in the US ... you rent it from the Gov. dont believe me ... stop paying your property taxes and get back to me in a few years and tell me what you own .. ok

  • I live in Norway, OK I only "own" property.

  • dnt wrry its all under CONTROL

  • There is one thing I disagree with in here- Governments do not control the money supply, the bankers do via the Fractional Reserve System. Google "Money as Debt". Governments are just shells for funneling tax dollars to the super rich & using violence and disinformation to maintain selective monopolies for those banks and related corporations. All are owned by the same small group of uber-rich "elites" that are less than 4% of the population. I view a meltdown as opportunity to be rid of them.

  • Government let the bankers control the money.

  • Other way round bro. In a monetary system, Money holds the real power, not political celebrity. As Rockefeller said "Give me control of a nations money, and I care not who makes its laws." The only way to solve that problem is to eliminate the Monetary System. Google Zeitgeist Addendum for more on this. I greatly admire Stef but disagree that a market system can be benevolent or even balanced. You only have freedom according to your Purchasing Power so the rich always rule. Same as it ever was..

  • Government/people or whatever you like, let the bankers control the money!!!!

Yes, they(government/people) give the bankers power, when they(government/people) accept the monetary system.

Exactly, when they(government/people) give(the keyword is "GIVE") Rockefeller control of the money....

Exactly, (government/people) must stop letting the bankers control our money/monetary system.

  • A free market will be as benevolent as the individuals participating in it, want it to be, should it be any different?

Why do you write that a free market(the keyword is "FREE") is not balanced, i.e. a free market = no fiat money(inflated/manipulated etc), no fractional reserve banking, no redistribution of taxes by corrupt politicians, no regulations that favours certain special interest groups at the expense of others etc, only voluntary cooperation based on mutual benefit?

  • What`s wrong with having freedom(buying power) that is correlated with the fruits of ones own labour(it`s a "FREE" market, i.e. no coercion, no manipulation of the monetary system etc)?

Why is it wrong that the hardworking, innovative, intelligent, productive(i.e. rich people) should have a larger buying power than the lazy, unproductive etc?

No, today we have a corrupt government controled by special interest for their own benefit, earlier kings/dukes/counts etc controlled government....

  • I have to agree with werd and lic, what exactly then are we to do? and as lic stated, not all people will believe in virtue and non-violence. As sad as this video makes me, I know its true. Deep down, we all know what this man is saying is true. I know there are the nay sayers who still believe in Santa clause and unicorns but deep down, they know something is very wrong, they arent sure what, but they know something is coming. Americans usually act with valor during crises. Hope we still will.

  • Buy physical gold & silver if you can.

  • Thank you for this wonderful insight. I aquire more knowledge every time I watch your videos. In this episode, however, you did not actually tell your audience "what to do about the coming Depression." I want to know what to do in this coming situation of economic carnage. Thanks again for your educational and undeniably entertaining videos.

  • So when the depression doesn't come and nations don't fall....will you admit you were wrong?

Of course not, your theory is unfalsifiable.

  • His theory is based on the results of the hundreds of empires that have risen and fallen throughout the course of mankind.

  • sure and the false premise that all 'states' are the same. Just because states fail does not mean that all states are evil. All people die, are we all therefore evil?

  • OK if some are different the find me ONE in ALL of human history that wasn't based on Violence, manipulation, collusion and exploitation. Just ONE! BTW they've not all evil b/c they fail. They're Evil b/c they Initiate Violence for power and profit. However, if we provide our own resources, we eliminate the need for banks, the fractional reserve system, corporations, governments and the selective monopolies they enFORCE with Magical Violence Dust...

  • Stef,

First I want to commend you on a very eloquently delivered piece. "Unicorns bring the rain", is funny. "You can't stop what's coming", said the oldtimer in NCFOM. It's been PLANNED down to the violence which will be brought to you. It's too late to converse to the neighbors, they either won't get it or not want to. A decade plus of conditioning through the schools may have produced a limited emphatic group but they're oblivious for the most part. The deck is stacked. God help us.

  • Besides talking to your friends and neighbors, I recommend buying gold, silver, a long term stored food supply, and lots of lead to protect you and your family. Not everyone will believe in virtue and non-violence when things get really bad.

  • It won't be like mad max either.

  • Absolutely Fab! Your insight is a real breath of fresh air in all of this smog.

And to all of those who have commented on your videos about the worry of people not changing or waking up, well, we (they) are and we can only change others by our example of peaceful and loving 'being' in the world.

ps. I really am not a hippy.

  • agreed :D

  • Good video, however most people I talk to about this stuff, do not care, they are all too wrapped up in their own world to care.

My only criticism is that you are over confident with your logic and rationality in some aspects, as we know these have limits and can have built in assumptions and irrationalities. I also think the parasites know exactly what they are doing and want to create a world state which will give them total and full power over the earth they are just creating crisis as a way

  • If only people would read "The Worldly Philosophers"....like I did...in high-school....

  • i wonder what his take is on Machiavellian theories

  • Another great video

  • @Stefan: great video, keep up the excellent work...I'm actualy not very convinced that people will change before they hit rock bottom. Too much of the things that should be different where pretty successful in millions of years of evolution... What i miss in this one and other of your video's (i'm still watching) is the growth dogma against finite resources (specially oil). This builds in a time factor for change in a way that the sh*t already hit the fan with decreasing world oil production.

  • Stef, I recently discovered your vids and enjoy them. This is the best I've seen thus far. Sometimes your passion for the topic at hand leads you to make ad hominem attacks (particularly in the religion vids), but otherwise your logic is more sound than all the voices in the corporate media put together. Keep up the good work, sir.

  • Thanks for your kind words! :)

  • I agree completely

  • Powerful.

  • Great video :)

    Peace

  • Thank you very much -- and peace to you! :)

  • stop being herded around like a bunch of drugged cats....with a shovel!

  • you got a good radio voice - and face.

    nice vid 5 stars.

  • Thank you also for pointing out the fact that only 15 of the thousands of economists out there not to mention all the masters in business

  • Thank you for your support of peace and civilization. Thank you for supporting a clear focus on what allowed someone like Hitler to come to power. Thank you for your sincere focus on the fear factor and its relation to rigid, autocracy, or basically looking for someone else to take responsibility to put things in order.

  • "Evil, it no workie." Heh.

  • Thank you. Everyone around me blames the "Free Market". I felt I was going insane hearing everyone saying essentially the opposite of what you're saying.

  • The US federal gov't has been using "socialist tricks" for over a century. What do you think subsidies, licensing & barriers to entry, tariffs & protectionism, taxation on income, centralized banking, social security, welfare, and public health care are? The United States has never had a "fully capitalist free market system" and has not seen anything close to it since the 1800's.

  • Communism, no. It's arguable that no state has ever been communist. The US was once fairly close to a free market system, but that was a very long time ago.

The bubble in real estate was due, in part, to gov't intervention to increase the purchase of homes, by subsidizing the mortgage industry. It also had to do w/ rampant speculation, but that wouldn't have been happening if home values hadn't been going up drastically in the first place.

  • The only thing based on theory is the notion that one man is virtuous enough to threaten others w/ a gun, and get good results. In practice this theory begets only disasters.

The thing that failed was a centrally planned economy. It will continue to fail, on and on, until it collapses utterly. If men are so unlucky that it is replaced by another coercive scheme, rinse and repeat... as many times as it takes for men to learn that reason and virtue do not proceed from the barrel of a gun.

  • "I said the US was THE CLOSEST to a fully free market & non-intervining state system that this world has ever seen and IT FAILED as you can see."

The problem isn't that it's free, the problem is how this freedom is distributed. Freedoms such as patents, copyrights and other monopolies are distributed and SUPPORTED on this "free market" (monopolies have no place in a free market). Why would the american market be "more free", when the only difference is a few protective tariffs?

  • Well apparently, accoarding to those libertarian wackos, the problem is that the US economy was not capitalist enough!!! And we are talking about a place where you can actually buy the life (insurace) of another person, in hope that they will die soon so you can get the insurance money.. Leave aside the proven fact that in the free market system monopolies and cartels will arise in one way or another..

  • Haha, say that to a mutualist, the specialists in the subject. There is a reason why mutualists remain anarchists. Monopolies can arise from a free market only through the growth and size of a company, beyond a certain level they can buy other companies off, eliminate competition etc. This size can only be reached with support from the state, it's impossible without patents and copyrights to protect you from competition. Ironically, libertarians seem to like the state and it's monopolization.

  • "it's impossible without patents and copyrights to protect you from competition"

Oh really? And how do you know that, have you done experiments with mice or people? Cause I also know some really nice utopian communist theories that work just fine - in theory. And by the way, how did Wal-Mart come to be the largest corporation in the world, and the 25 largest economic entry (including countries). Did they make use of some state patent law, that I don't know of?

  • No, of course not (other than name copyrights etc). I apologize for that contradictory sentence. As I wrote, "beyond a certain level they can buy other companies off, eliminate competition etc". This is what I would presume that Wal-Mart has done after 'a certain level', but how did they reach there? Unfortunately, I'm not really educated in the subject, so I can only offer you mere speculations. Lobbying for example is often used by companies to generate wealth.

  • No, in fact the US was not the country with the most economic freedom. According to the last ranking I saw we were about #6, and now I'd speculate we're out of the top 10. #1 is New Zealand.

  • what's free market about the federal reserve and legal tender laws? The federal reserve is the single most dangerous entity against any hope of having a free market. Everything toxic comes as a consequence as a result of having a central bank that can create currency out of thin air. I won't thumbs down you, I would just like a response.

  • I didn't know what "Fiat currency" was, so:

Fiat currency (fiat money) is money that exists because an authority or custom declares it to be money. (From the Latin fiat, which means "let it be done"). It achieves value because a government requires it in payment of taxes and says it can be used to pay debt or buy goods and services and because people trust that the currency will be reasonably stable.

    ~ Wikipedia.

  • Great, Im awake! .. kinda.. at least I felt a bit awake when you were talking.. Lets do something! ... um.. scratches head... uh.. wadda I do?

  • Another thought provoking video, thanks Stefan.

The line near the end "When the system collapses, people go to militarism; that is inevitable, if people don't reason, think, communicate, and learn.", confuses me. That would mean that when times are hard and people are not getting what they want for the current state of affaris, then they turn to organized violence, UNLESS they "reason, think, communicate, and learn" but people do those things all the time. So it seems we are screwed either way.

  • Yes, yes yes, I understand what you are saying... BUT

what am i to do about changing it? talking with peope doesn't seem to be enough. I want to take action somehow to make a palpable difference....

I have a fire burning within, but nothing to give warmth..

  • Dear stefbot.

How many psychiatrists does it take to change a light bulb?

One but it will take a long time and it's got to want to change.

    With levity.

    Lucian.

P.S. Act now, do nothing, save the world.

  • Imagine a world-wide free market.

Feel the wonderful emotions of real peace.

What you think about you bring about.

    AWESOME video! Thank You!!

  • Sorry about being vulgar, but this video is fucking AWESOME...

My friends and family are slowly waking up because I planted the seeds 2 years ago. When the Dow was at 14,000+. Before any talk of "recession." Now they believe me!

Plant your seeds soon before it's too late. Before the drought, before the winter storm! Wake up America!

    End the fed.

    Ron Paul 2012.

  • he had been reading tom woods' book meltdown....good man....smart stuff

  • "---the talking head moshpit known as the mainstream media" I love that one!

  • Exactly right. Keep the truth coming.

  • Worldwide Workless Week!

Stop the gears now! On our terms!

    Non-violent non-cooperation!

  • *hint

most countries close on week-ends and function on a monthly base

  • Interesting indeed.

  • Stef, the US savings rates went from -9% to + 3% in only 3 months, and Roubini expects it to reach +9% soon. This is made possible by a collapse in purchases of consumer durables and investment. Most of this money is going into time deposits or treasury bonds. Any massive sudden shift in spending on this scale can collapse the economy, so the government & central bank need to create trillions of $ to match the demand for cash and bonds.

  • (cont'd) Furthermore, you can have very severe boom and bust cycles even without fiat money and with a gold standard, as happened in the 19th century. The problem with central banks is they are biased, too eager to stimulate during a bust, but they hesitate to reign in a boom, so they have a mildly inflationary bias over the long run (approx 5% on average over the past 100 years).

  • Ape65, I would highly recommend George Reisman's blog post on why falling prices are not deflation but the antidote to deflation.

"a fall in prices enables reduced funds available for expenditure to buy as much as previously larger funds could buy."

  • Actually, that's not what I said, but thanks for watching to the end! :)

  • It does, on its face, sound like something Barry or his gang would say.

No doubt things need to change. Either he was taping go as go (and might get his thoughts together first).

Perhaps (f he WAS talking on the fly or under the influence of stage fright) he thought of this remark as a lat-minute/out-of-time close.

I will check out this INTERNET station and see what this fellow is really about.

  • "The fundamental question is, will you see reason?" Man, what a blowhard.

I'm right, and if you disagree, ZOMG, we're all gonna die. So just, see reason.

This man is so blind to his own rhetoric, it's almost embarrassing for him. No, strike that, it IS embarrassing for him.

  • As we can all learn from Fox News, any time someone is claiming to know the truth, it's pretty safe to assume that they are close-minded, narrow thinkers, operating out of fear that they may, in fact, ohgodno, be wrong.

  • you're a good commentator. regards.

  • Thank you. I hope something changes.

  • Well, dear Stefan. Please understand that deficit=capital credit. It is the same thing. The packages are the same thing as enterpreneurship, only on a wider scale. No difference, except the money is from your pocket. You invest good-you win. You invest bad-you lose! FAILED!

  • Hope you answer or ill find you and kill you. But first, your logic will be defeated.

  • I think it was you saying that the united states murdered 15 million people, 3 less than Stalin, hahaha. So what? Are you commies or something? Study some history first

  • amazing amazing video

stefbot your so much worth to us!

  • This is like a foreign language to the Debt Slaves.

Thanks for putting out the clip.

  • OK perhaps about 23 minutes in there is some talk of what to do now...

Basically the message is think about everything and communicate this understanding to others.

Where is this fear of collapse coming from? Roman empire collapsed, 1000 years of dark ages. Doesn't apply this time. US empire collapses, we still have communications + technology. We want collapse! After collapse can come the Stateless Society you envision. Anything short of total collapse is more of the same corruption, in time.

  • dashxdr: thx for pointing to the talk of what to do at 23min!

  • 10 minutes into the video and I'm still waiting to find out what we're supposed to do about the coming depression, instead it's rehash of where we are...

  • 17:55 into the video, still waiting...

  • I thought It worked during the Great Depression. FDR?

  • FDR took office in the early 30s. The Great Depression didn't end until several years after the New Deal. That is not much of a success. Depressions will always end, however they can be prolonged.

  • OhMymy:

This must be a joke. FDR created a deeper depression. His policies have been widely discredited by economists who have written numerous books and studies about them.

Now, we're looking at even worse policies perpetrated upon us by elected officials our foolish electorate has voted into office.

What a crazy world of suicidal destruction.

  • Comment removed

  • you are amazing. i just discovered you thank you for all your videos. if i had money to donate i would LOL

  • I wish someone in my life was smart enough to understand this. I don't actually know anyone who can see the truth about anything right now. The younger ones are so brainwashed by pop culture. The older are brainwashed by religion. Everyone is violent. We will never get better till we see the error in violence. I get so depressed because of our culture.

  • I see that too but just as we slept before we awoke, we must know that now it is our job to plant the seeds and give them the balance of time, room and care to grow. There are a lot of us out here now and just as we found this video, and found the truth, we will find and help others.

  • what a great video.. i had my attention from the very start.. i couldnt take my eyes away and thats alot to say cause i get bored easy haha

  • I love you.

  • I've been setting aside some money for times like these.

    I hope you have to!

There are some outstanding bargins out there now in RE & the stock mkt.

  • If they taught us this in school, it would be harder for them to rip us off, so they don't teach it.

  • Bravo!

  • The American Federal Reserve Bank is privately owned

The FED owes its duty to private shareholders!

America can no longer create money debt & interest free!

It's a criminal organization that caused 3 depressions in the 30's (google their retraction of money and the correlating collapse of biz & unemployment)

Then, the FEDs same shareholders bought up property and companies at pennies on a dollar!

The FED wants the USA to collapse! The FED is NOT part of the US Government!

  • One quadrillion dollars is the sum of outstanding fake derivatives

The latest bailout (bank heist) is $5 trillion, triple the original $700 billion; Amazingly the FED has been paying these bankers 188 billion a day all along

Add together the unfunded liabilities from Medicare and Social Security, and it comes to $99.2 trillion over the infinite horizon; Richard W. Fisher, the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, (July 22, 2008 San Fran Chronicle)

  • Stef, this is your best yet and the timing is perfect. The people are now ready for this.

  • Why,does it hurt your tiny little attention span?If you have to criticize Stef, one of THE most awesome communicators on the net,who has provided me hours of joyful education, fun, and enlightenment then maybe you should try making your own videos.

  • why does it take you so long to get to the point?

  • because you don't listen

  • i listen fine, there's just a lot of rhetoric before steph gets to the point, its unnecessary. alot of what he talks about has vaguely anything to do with point of the vid. its unnecessary comentary on useless information. he just loves to hear himself talk

  • dhartin:

Well his preface is structured to provide the justification for his conclusion. Unfortunately, I don't see a way to accomplish what he's saying without another Civil War.

  • a civil war would be 2 different groups of similar size fighting over ideologies, what steph is talking about would require a revolution of a small minority taking over what the majority really wants, which is socialism, sad but true. these are all great ideas that i agree with but the majority of people dont get it and they will win by shier numbers because most people are lazy and want to be taken care of by their government

  • dhartin:

Except all of this crap that is now being done in the name of stimulus, will not work...and more of us know the reasons why they won't work...

No, this is different from 1933, much different.

  • Agreed. A fantastic cake but a lot more icing than I would like.

  • Put your money where you mouth is.

What stocks are you selling short?

As for me, I don't have the balls to bet against the USA.

  • You see, Reason provides a logical methodology to a solution to the issues we are facing. In fact if we were "reasonable" we would have used reason to avoid all of this.

However, Socialist-Collectivists will not give up power without a fight, and I think a Civil War needs to be fought between us and them. They are in favor of slavery, so we have the moral high ground. Reason provides the moral basis for courage, because what we fight for is Right, not morally ambiguous.

  • So we see that we're repeating the late 70's in the least and the 1930's in the worst.

I still have an issue with anarchy, which sounds like REAL free market capitalism & Ayn Rand's Objectivism, and those mask wearing maniacs who protest with masks on as they throw molotov cocktails and flip cars...where's the connection?

  • Anarchists cannot be throwing molotovs and flipping cars, simply because if you do those things, then you are by definition not an anarchist.

  • Rudd:

Then explain to me why these guys use the Anarchist symbol while they are committing these crimes, what gives?

  • It's strange; no one has ever committed a crime while wearing a crucifix so what gives with these "Anarchists"!

  • Lee:

I take it you are being sarcastic. Given my philosophical agreement with the concept that "Government which governs least governs best," I find myself in agreement with everything I see in this video.

I also understand the financial markets and he's totally right.

However, street anarchists just seem bent on the destruction of property. I want to know the connection between them and the ideas ennunciated here. Are there any?

Like Nazi Brownshirts, does Anarchy have a "military" arm?

  • > Given my philosophical agreement with the concept that "Government which governs least governs best,"

Also slaveowner that whips the least whips "best".

    > However, street anarchists just seem bent on the destruction of property.

We already established those are not anarchists, but vandals or at most nihilists. Stop using the term in that way if you want to be taken seriously.

  • Rudd:

Listen pal, lighten up. I'm asking questions, because no philosophy class I took in college provided as reasoned an explanation as exist on this channel.

You have an attitude that seems unreasonable, however, I will admit my ignorance, if you'll give me a break.

  • OK, I might have come across as rude or pushy. If that was so, I apologize. I would appreciate if you did not use the word anarchist to describe people with an affiliation to violence, that is all.

  • Absolutely Captain, I was being sarcastic.

  • Because hooligans and ancy people who have not done their research will use any mask to do disruptive acts. It frustrates real anarchists no end because it gives us a bad image and name. Then the media and public brand us as evil and we can't get our message across.

Peacful people being harrassed is a far better image than hooligans looting shops and attacking police. We don't want violence, trust me.

  • corrupt:

That's the problem with the name of "anarchy," because it connotes violence and rule by the fist and gun.

What anarchists need is a new name, like "Freedom" or "Liberty" or "Independence" which might allow itself to distance itself from the image of the mask covered Molotov cocktail throwing asshole.

I like the philosophy of this, even though I'm an Objectivist.

  • I like voluntarist. It sounds a lot nicer. Anarchy is a lost cause. Even people who would be for no government will instantly conjure up images of chaos when the term anarchy is used.

  • free:

    I'll bite! I like it.

  • I will, as soon as you explain to me why americans murder millions under the symbol of freedom, why communists rob people of their property under the banner of fairness and why the pope wears Prada in the name of poverty.

What the heck, I'll just explain directly: people who do perverse shit ALWAYS brand their perverse shit with righteous symbols in an attempt to misdirect you. Hadn't you figured that out by now?

  • Rudd:

Well this channel seems to answer that question.

Capitalism, as I understand and follow it, does not represent violence as a legitimate way to do business.

As this video clearly states, it represents free choice & property rights without violence.

Ayn Rand stated pretty much the same thing, except she identified them as "producers," and their slave masters as "Ghengis Khans."

    I like the analogy.

And I'm no one's sucker, which is why I asked the original question.

  • Freedomain must have read Ayn Rand before.lol

  • The video title is not on topic of the video. However, vid is worth the listen.

  • Does anybody know what thegas4free.blogspot,com is that Obama has been talking about?

  • hmmm ... as far as my research went, I was just seeing that the government cannot print money ... they dont own the central bank. The government is just creating money (and inflation) thru debt.

  • Yes exactly what i have come the think. I have been trying to tell people this for a couple of years now, but everybody just says im a conspiracy nutter. Its Fact and very easy to find this out, also schools, police stations, hospitals etc etc are all money making corperations. I have also found out that we are the security for paying back the debt to these banks, when you see your name in all CAPITAL LETTERS, its your legal entity that the Government gave you when were born. "Robert menard"

  • Right - my name ties me to the legal system. Oh wait?!? My lifelong IRS number would be much more effective - can I use that also as identification in legal documents :)

  • Don't buy when the mkt is up, now is a time to ease back in.

  • Meltdown is great. I'm reading it now.

That is where you got that great airplane-gravity metaphor.

Great video. Keep up the good work.

  • "Evil it no worky" ;)

I like the stone dropping analogy.

  • dont focus on governments but on the bankers (rothschild, rockefeller) and the illuminati royal families in europe. the governments are under their control.

  • wd:

Give it a rest will you. We're controlled by people who vote for fucking fools, who turn around and screw all of us.

  • Mises was right!

  • Unfortunately, Stef, I think those in power have become experts at manipulation of the populace. If the US does survive the coming crises, we'll end up going *more* socialist/communist. We'll be worse off for it, but the prevailing direction is left.

  • You honestly believe that the present situation is going to make the system collapse?

  • It's not *just* an economic depression, it's a number of problems. During our last depression people in general knew how to farm, and how to farm without petroleum based fertilizer.

We've reached/passed peak oil, China and India are up and coming economically, and we have more debt currently than ever in history. Add on our future entitlement spending problems (watch "I.O.U.S.A.: Byte-Sized - The 30 Minute Version" on youtube), and I don't the United States will not survive it.

  • I know it's not the greatest situation, and I guess "collapse" also depends on the definition. I'm quite sure that this is not the event that will have significant effects on the Western (or world) system(s).

  • Collapse in the USSR sense of the word. Dissolution of the union into individual states who may form their own unions. We're referred to as "The Former United States".

The US government has become harmful to it's intended purpose.

  • That would be nice, but I just don't believe it will come to that. Let's hope I'm wrong :)

  • word up stef. I appreciate wat ur doin. im not ready to do wat ur doin. i need many, many more years of study and research. people have to be insane not to understand wat is being done to us here, through manipulation and deception.
