"a miracle of not dying that day". No miracles, but a highly professional pilot. And not a 'thank you', as if it just happened.
But then, if your only goal in life is to be a good dad, then probably you won't appreciate this kind of professionalism in others. Could be uncomfortable.
I am moved by this short video. What saddens me is that only 26,000 people have found it and / or taken time to watch it. Thanks to my beautiful wife for bringing it to my attention.
I had an experience like this coming in to Sacramento . In the we ran into bad weather between Orange country and Sacramento . We could see lightening and it kept getting worst. Then the turbulence and as we circled Sacramento, the plane really started to jump and I was fully convinced the pilot would take us some where else, but he kept coming in. The plane must have jumped 10 ft from time to time. O2 masks dropped, screams & I could see the rice patties. He landed very hard Cheers brokeout.
Wonderful. Fully seeing your mortality in front of your face, makes you see what life really is. Moving into instant, inspired action is no problem after you cheat death in such a fashion.
When one is moments away from death, asking "you" to somehow save oneself from a switch off , mico seconds later, it's either desperation or panic n if then reconcilliation. Death is the most profound of all experiences... Nothing can explain that sinking feeling..n depending on the individual, a complete scan , backup n summary of entire life experience flashes ..to come back from there is rare n would be a rebirth ...

Go Vegan. Life is too short for yourself, and even shorter for others.
