I have to disagree with your stance on religion. IMO all rigid belief systems not based on observable reality are pretty much in the same category in terms of their counter-productivity to rational thought and their powerfull potential for destroying open communication. Weather extremes are going to be at the top of my list. I believe the climate is changing but not due to human beings just normal shifts in long term patterns. The problem here is that we (the human race) have gotten used to what we think is normal. However we've not been around long enough to know what normal is. I would like to suggest calendar reform. The irregular Gregorian calendar messes with our ability to perceive natural time. Since time is based entirely on perception, we should "synchronize" first by globally agreeing on a more natural calendar. There is a "13 moon calendar" which has 13 months and 28 days each. We could use that.

I have to disagree with your stance on religion. IMO all rigid belief systems not based on observable reality are pretty much in the same category in terms of their counter-productivity to rational thought and their powerfull potential for destroying open communication. Weather extremes are going to be at the top of my list. I believe the climate is changing but not due to human beings just normal shifts in long term patterns. The problem here is that we (the human race) have gotten used to what we think is normal. However we've not been around long enough to know what normal is. Being prepared to deal with "wild" weather is so important! But I'm afraid even the best prepper may not have plans to deal with it. This is a great way to start dialog man. Thanks!

The North Star got much dimmer in 2008 and the little dipper that is supposed to be attached is missing since then as well. I know they had to teach you how to use the North Star in the military.

I answered the question from the standpoint of Bible Prophecy as I and others see it. Because that is from a place that naturally divides rather than units, I'll dial it back so to speak. Economic collapse or the loss of the electrical grid are what I would worry about most from just sticly a secular viewpoint. Either scenario puts basic food and fresh water in jeopardy to the point where some type of government crack would not only be necessary but even begged for by citizens in all nations

I was born and raised in kansas. we had 100 plus mph winds and my dad acted like it was a normal thing. he had lived there 50 years and had seen that happen every year. I think its pretty crazy to have those winds in places where they have never occured before. And here in texas where i live now. we are experiencing the worst drought ever recorded.

My suggestion would be the utter destruction of the world due to WW3 or 4, depending on what you count the Cold War as. The Sun, we can't do shit about. The Pole Shift, the same. I would like to suggest calendar reform. The irregular Gregorian calendar messes with our ability to perceive natural time. Since time is based entirely on perception, we should "synchronize" first by globally agreeing on a more natural calendar. There is a "13 moon calendar" which has 13 months and 28 days each. We could use that.
