Lenny 'chickenman' Silverman, John 'Porky' Parker, Ronnie Robinson = lots of big names from that era. It was quite a time! Thanks for posting and for allowing me to remember those good times.
@1400deadwood Joanie Weston and Ann Calvello were both class acts! Both would take new players to their teams and help them out and were always nice to the fans, loved by all.
@WatchVenusSpa he didn't. The Renegades were a Roller Games team. During the period this is from they did alot of interleague games. After they did those they went back to just skating Games. I went to a couple games with the TBirds against the San Fransisco Bombers here in L.A..
I know that the flat track, all female stuff exists as do a form of the Bombers here in the Bay Area. But this was great. Especially a Roller Derby vs Roller Games match.

I love this footage, as a roller-girl myself, we could learn a few things from these old school bouts. Sweet!

Loved that "high tech" scoreboard at the end!

Rita Williams was soooo under rated. a good jammer and good blocker too for a little girl. In 1 game she skated circles around Gwen Miller.

Danny Riley? I didn't know he ever skated for Seltzer.
