CodePink is a grassroots movement. They moved me while they moved this meeting from what it was trying to be to what it became. The pressure was elegant and dignified, yet powerful. Keep moving us to a higher ground CodePink. Where there was no "window of opportunity" apparent in the meeting for the common persons' concerns to be addressed, this action opened up the window that was needed to shine the light on that which is shrouded in secrecy by design. I thilnk all CEO's with mansions should be forced to give up their land; and the land should be used for organic farming. There is no reason for excess spending on material things.

Codepink will never be taken seriously if their strategy remains to walk around and ambush political figures like Rumsfeld and yell things like 'war criminal'. They will simply remain an annoyance unless they begin to act in a civilized manner to get their ideas out. The money from TARP and the Federal Resreve is nothing to compared to what Goldman Sachs gets through the FDIC.

Goldman Sachs has access to endless amounts of cheap government capital through the FDIC. No public reporting. No strings attached.

Sure they can return the TARP money. That 's petty cash compared to the FDIC gusher.
