@TobyEllisSongwriter Heheheh. I suppose you're probably correct. The only thing I would have to say to that is that the suspension is lower in the voice of the chord, so that may have been why I wrote it that way. However, I'm not saying that's a rule. Only a personal choice.

Hey folks! Thanks for the kind words! Yes, standard tuning revisited. I've never had anything against standard tuning. It's still the tuning I played in first and know best, even though I rarely use it. But it was the perfect tuning for the chord voicings and the vibe I wanted to get for this tune. And many of you have picked up on the Motown feel, which was most definitely intentional! And the most direct inspiration for this tune was a Hugh Masekela chart called "Grazing in the Grass."
