A fine presentation, but one complaint: the room is filled with high school history teachers and yet the presenter singles out "the historians in the room" several times. Good history teachers are historians. He seems to presume that the two are mutually exclusive. This is condescending to history teachers and contrary to what seems to be his basic message. The notion that the study of history is the ongoing act of interpreting the past is not a secret known only to history professors.
