  • Got this super sleek sled in my garage..next to my Harley! Two different bikes but awesome in their own separate rights. Ride on, brothers and sisters.

  • Went and looked at the T-bird and the Storm today...seriously thinking about signing on the dotted line. Test ride tomorrow..

  • I wish I was american...

  • @Kidnapper89 why the fuck you wanna be an american you should just be proud of who you are

  • does anyone know the name of this soundtrack?

  • I'm American and I know for sure Harley Davidson's are over-priced shit.

  • Just test ridden this....makes a harley fell like a boat anchor. Yanks will never get it right anyway so not worth comparing over priced crap with quality. This is the cruiser to buy.

  • i had a test ride with this bike last week... It'll be my next one. great sensations.

  • I reckon that looks damn good. I'd have one. I ride a T140V engined chop. I've had it more years in one form or another than I havn't an' I'll be holdin' on to this but I am sorely tempted with the Thunderbird.

    CHEERS !!

  • Nice! I own a 1967 Bonneville T120 chopper. Bought it used in 1978 and turned it into a chopper. Wish I'd left it stock now. Maybe I'll add this one to my collection. Got an 2007 HD FLHR. Going to test ride one soon. I've always has a soft spot for Triumphs! Nice looking.

  • Dear oh dear peeps. All this arguing over a new bike design. What is the problem..? If it draws one more car driver out of his or her tin box and onto two wheels, then that's great, in my opinion. As it happens, on my numerous rides through the New Forest [for overseas people, that's in the UK] this summer on my VFR800Fi, I've seen plenty of Harleys and Triumphs of all descriptions. This 1600 parallel twin seems to be selling rather well, as I've seen several. Each to their own, eh..?

  • Its a nice bike , but not many boulevards in uk.stick to honda . I see them as caravans.

  • @TheSecondStain These are the words of a wise man. The more bikes, the better and the more variety, the better. I myself don't ride a bike yet (I have to be 21 and am only 18.5) but I've been saving for it the past 6 years. And the day I turn 21 I'm going to buy it: a fusion white Triumph Bonneville. Can't wait, that's for sure!

  • reminded me of triumph 2300cc but could anyone tell me how much cc is this bike & price of it anyone .. someone???

  • it's a 1600 parallel twin (expandable to 1700 with the big bore kit) and list price on the base model is $12499. Base horsepower is about 85, torque is 108 this goes up to 100hp and 115 torque. (as mine will a bit later this month with the kit comes out)

  • @cuckoo1121 - 1600cc with an over-bored 1700cc option available, a decent HP/Trq gain, though not necessary at all.

Why do people keep using terms like "Harley Clone"? What the heck about ANY triumph is anything like Harley?

    Nothing against Harley, BTW...

  • what is the group or the song of the video?

  • fuck you its not a harley clone. its been brought out to compete with all the other companies bigger engines, its basicly a triumph america with a huge engine

  • Amazing !

Ima suspect cuz i own Triumphs for 20 years now !

    Btw, Who is playing ?

  • Nice to have another option to the Harley Davidson and the Jap 'wanna-be' cruiser bikes. Nothing more ridiculous to me than to see some chap decked out in leathers and such on a fat cruiser bike that says 'Suzuki' or 'Yamaha' on it! I point and laugh my ass off at those. Japs need to stick to the little rice sport bikes or the 'Honda Accord on two wheels' Goldwing types for the old fogies.

  • Just like when I see mighty Yamaha V-MAX ,- and then se a little man on his HD-V-rod, - now thats a real "hd wanna-be v-max"

I point and laugh my ass off at those v-rod drivers,- buy the real stuff, the YAMAHA V-MAX.

  • Re-sale value says it all....

But hey, each to their own...enjoy your little knock-off rice bike. Lord knows nobody rips off other country's products better than the Nips

  • No no,- sales says it all..

Who`s the biggest bike-producer in the world?

Japan,- and why? It`s so simple,- because they build the best bikes,- and the price is right..

Only stupid people buy a bike that is tenical way behind japanese bikes, and cost twise as much,- only because it has written the name Harley Davidson on the gastank..

  • So, then, using your logic since 'sales says it all' and 'biggest bike-producer in the world'....I guess since Hyundai sells more cars than Aston Martin, they must be better cars, right? Yeah...that makes sense...(?)

Technically way behind the japanese? Oh yes, because the japanese are SO innovative! (Lexus clones Mercedes, Honda started out as a Mini clone, Landcruiser taken from the Jeep, etc etc). You know, Ferraris are pretty 'technical' too...right up till they explode!

    Got more 'logic'?

  • well i have to admit that jap bikes and cars r much more reliable than any others. thats my personal experience as well and the worlds worst bike without a doubt is harley. u buy a brand new harley davidson and drive it 4000miles and your crand runs out. u dont fix it and your oil pump is gone and then the whole engine. what the hell is this.u buy any jap bike and it will be running after 20 years without giving u any trouble. i just rejected to buy harley and now will be riding triumph rocket 3

  • Jap cars/bikes do take a lot of mileage, no doubt. But the parts are 3x as expensive when you DO have to fix them and their designed to be a bitch to repair! The bit about Harley quality was right about 20 years ago. Since they did the re-design with assistance from Porsche that hasn't been true in quite awhile. Just like American cars. Now you can get just as many miles as the jap stuff...but images do linger, don't they? I've owned Brit, jap and American.

  • Just like you could have said that there was a time that the Brits couldn't make anything that didn't rust out in a day and nothing electrical worked. They've come a long, long way in the past 15-20 yrs. Japs still make long-lasting drive-trains but go half-ass on everything else (they still rust twice as fast as anything else, and the cars are 'cheap' on the interior, etc.)

  • @faziljaved - in terms of reliability I have an 03 Triumph America with 80,000mi and has needed nothing for than brakes, chain lube, and a few oil changes. No actual repairs. Good choice on the R3, BTW.

    @BlackOps00 - completely agree.

  • What a stunning piece of kit - makes me want to ride a cruiser, and it's not a clone!

  • Engine more than twice the size of the biggest pushrod Bonnie.

But it looks like a giant Suzuki GS400 twin.

The bike is nice, but perhaps a bit too familiar. . .?

    Will it sell?

not too much interest here, it seems.

  • Fuck right off, remember the first japs were straight copies of british bikes eg, suzuki copied the BSA A10, the kwaks copies of Triumphs, were W650's. The only change came in with honda 4, the japs now are in the background both Triumph and BMW rule the roost, the next thing they need to bring out to take the market is brit and german made smalls like 125's and 250's for the learners, then japs will no longer be present, but a distant memory, Ofcourse it will sell people want CLASS not JAP SHIT

  • The engine still looks like a Suzuki 400.

    It'll sell. . .?

    Like the Rocket?

    Rember that one?

And I mean the new version, not the BSA.

Not many of those around, I fear.

  • the engine is a parallel twin because that is what they are famous for, that and triples, but they are doing big twins now because they realise that some people are too big for the bonnevilles (same problem in the 70's) and the engines went strong enough to bore out, unlike a bmw one engine for all its models (the old boxers) the only change was the head end, pistons and barrel. so they are doing a big retro twin to keep it in the style of classic cruiser.

  • I think this new T-bird engine is great.

It was a good move to use this configuration because it is what Triumph does best, and nobody else has anything like it.

I'm sure that the bike will find a following, and - who knows? - it might become a standard , like the new Bonnie.

    Lets hope so.

  • hells fucking yeah, its not an se so it wil be if it sells well

  • Yes, - they were copies, but copies that where way better than the originals. Japs made/make bulletproff engines, and BSA -Norton-Triumph broke down all the time. I remember you had to have two Triumphs, one for spareparts.

And thats why al the brittish bikes whent bankrupt. :-) Nobody wanted to buy that trash.

  • yeah i know yu have had one for spares, everyone knows that, half of the problems were that you wernt fixing them properly, maybe because you didnt have the materials we do have now, most of the problems can be sorted out by bosch parts and a bing carb and the hondas that came in with an all in one oil, i admit they were good, but the w650's are shit

  • but you meet the nicest people on a honda, go f*ck your self who wants jap crap when you can have the best of british i dont want to be nice

  • OFFICIAL DEATH OF LEGENDE!!!made by sth.Corea...

  • Made in England at the HInckley site. This bike will sell very well, and not only in the US. Six speed belt drive parallel twin 1600.....or boost it to 1700 with factory big bore kit. Can't wait to get one and strip all the bits off......the ultimate Triumph bobber.

  • No, made in England. Idiot.

  • what ever Triumph do its well never be a honda hahaha

sucks bike go for vtx1800 ^-^

  • Can't wait for my pre-order to arrive!

  • wish i can ride one

  • wow. Nice looking bike

  • Amazing bike
