yo scott, could you start including things people do wrong on the particular exercises as well as what body parts the exercise should work. That would be extremely helpful, thanks.
This dude was alot different before he started using steroids. Even his attitude went from calm to a bit more agressive and impulsive. I noticed this by watching his old and newer videos
Scott, I felt a huge pain in the middle of my chest (sternum) when I tried these. I just stopped doing it after a few reps because the pain was INTENSE-not the good pain either. I can't do dips without some type of pain in the midchest area-parallel bar, assisted or bench dips are all very troublesome. Hammer strength dips are a little better but still causes a little bit of pain (not as much as the free weight or assisted). Why is this?
SatansLolipop, Try to keep your left arm tucked in at all times. I bet it flares out on u compared to your right. Also the dips will work your chest too. F u wanna minimize chest then don't lean forward too much. The best thing would b is to get off the weighted dips n do body weight only until u get the hang of it.
hey scott, I did this and the sides of my chest ache, I only want it to work triceps so I guess its a form error on my part ? and also, how do you prevent your stronger arm taking most of the strain? My right arm automatically takes all the pressure and feels more worked than the left at the end of my workout.
I should say that weighted dips are far greater than Benching. (Some may disagree with this :-)) ). I'll put it this way: after Benching i feel like an elephant, after weighted dips i feel like a tiger - more muscles are involved, closed chain exrs - people if you don't do it - DO IT - you'll be amazed what it does to your body. Just don't forget that it's NOT triceps exrs. Tense your whole body - chest, abs, back, even legs - you'll get an "Animal strength" feeling in your body.
Scott, you're awesome! In fact, it because of you that i go to the gym every day CONSISTENTLY. Don't stop what you're doing, because It's reaching out to a lot of people. I'm a firm believer that learning both proper eating and exercising habits can prevent millions of deaths we see annually because of heart disease, diabetes, strokes, etc. You inspire me. Keep it up!
when doing drop set you're supposed to drop only when you fail, and then repeat til failure again with the lower weights. a drop set is a double failure, and should theoretically be more effective.
HEY SCOTT, I THINK I SAW YOUR PICTURE SOMEWHERE IN A BOOK! THE MEN'S HEALTH FITNESS BOOK AND YOU WERE THEIR FITNESS MODEL FOR CHEST EXERCISES, IS THAT YOU?
@Tonyb88FTW Pull ups are good for the biceps.. Dips require triceps as you can see Scott's tri's are ripping lol. Just start doing push ups.. Great chest + triceps workout.
Seen some of the comments asking you why you don't want to get bigger and all that. I understand, (not because I'm anywhere near your size) but I guess I can understand not wanting to be the awkwardly huge guy who has to wear horrible XXXXXXXXXXL clothes.
What I'm curious about is how do you train at a high intensity level but not get bigger? I assume you train hard how come you don't naturally just bulk up more and more...?
Hurt my lower back, been out of the gym for week. Getting better and feel like I could start working out again, but feeling a little apprehensive, as I don't know what I did that hurt my back and a little unmotivated. How do I get back on track?
Hi! Scott! Is 16 a good age to start working out? Also, if you are fit and eating healthy, and you enrolled in a gym in about how much time would you see a change (bigger biceps, abs, chest) off course always working hard and eating healthy!
i know this is a random comment to post here, but just yesterday (friday), the security at our school made me sit in his office and started talking to me about an even that occurred two days ago (thursday), in which me and my friend vandalized two school bathrooms (we clogged toilets, broke a trash can, threw trash all over the place). well, now, the school hasnt called my parents and im beginning to think I may have to tell them. anyone got any tips on how to tell my parents what happened?

do a lot of cardio to get that 5% to -5% and take fish oil to replace that bad fat w/ good
