The Atari 5200 version was a little better in the sense that it was a bit faster and the music was more refined. However, the controls were awful. Still, one of the best games on the 5200, and both versions are fun to play!
I liked this version better than in the arcade--once you got used to the controls, the action was much better synchronized. The one-voice background music could have been better, though.
me and my mate used to bunk off school to play this at the local arcade!

I love comparing the arcade conversions on machines. Interesting comments about this version.

Best 8-bit translation of a classic arcade game. I still play it today on the 800XL.
