  • there will sooner be another murali than another warne

  • I think Steve Bucknor has a BAD decision contract with Symonds.. 3 for you... 1 for them to make sure they're not on to us

  • so?

  • i dont like symonds.......but his action is clean and nice......

  • great ball

  • Well look who the umpire is. Steve Bucknor is shit.

  • why is there a warne-murali debate on this video. I see Symonds, Prince, Gilly. No Warne. No Murali.

  • shit happens

  • inside edge onto the the thigh pad = out

  • decision review system ;)

  • not easy for umpire...

  • Too bad they didn't have the referral system back then...

  • aus won 3-0 anyway but now it will be a different story......

  • gooonnneee

  • karma

  • CAUGHT BEHIND!

  • He did not chuck, he had a very clean action that NOBODY suspected from ANY side whatsoever.. that's a pathetic, ignorant comment and you reference to him being white and aussie is reverse racism. If you look at the stats, he actually got more top order batsmen than McGrath.. in fact it's Murali who has a hell of a lot of tailend wickets and wickets against Bang and Zim, teams Warne barely played.

  • @gypoinc no ball!

  • @gypoinc,

What Rubbish. Murali has a better average against ALL nations except Pakistan when comparing to Shane Warne.

Murali was under pressure to take more wickets as he did not have world class fast bowler like McGrath to remove top order for him. Chaminda Vaas was decent but not a major weapon in test cricket

  • @chodaboy57,

Me hate Warne? Nope! I think he is one of the all time greats.

I just dont like people attacking Murali. Read my previous comments carefully before you reply

  • @sonofthedestroyer : That old chestnut about McGrath making life easy for Warne... you Warne-hating wankers have had so many years and that's be best you can come up with? Look at the 2005 Ashes when McGrath was injured. At 36, he took 40 wickets with virtually NO support from the fast men, AND made a stack of runs. How many times did he get Strauss that series?

  • @chodaboy57 Lol spinners against England ... yeah that's a hard one ...

  • @gypoinc,

Warne did not have a clean action. Nobody except for Ramnaresh Sarwan bowled within the old legal limits. And Warne was also a drug cheat on top of that.

I respect Warne as a great bowler, but if you think you can shit on Murali then i will return you the favour

  • Shane Warne was also involved in spot fixing. As i remember one batsman say that he was approached by Warne a night before a game. Offered a bribe by Warne to throw his wicket away to his bowling.

  • @sonofthedestroyer Crap...you just made that up. If not...prove it. Typical Aussie hating Indian.

  • @sonofthedestroyer dude. thats the dumbest thing ive ever heard in my life LOL

  • @gypoinc That's pure nonsense .. Murali (280 top 4 wickets - 35%) has a more top order wickets than Warne (225 top 4 - 31%). As for tail end wickets Murali has (187 - 23%) and Warne has (190 - 27%). So the numbers show that you are full of shit.

  • @pubuman Go on statsguru on cricinfo and take out the wickets Murali scored against Zimbabwe and BD (and do the same for Warne - he only played a combined 4 tests against both teams) and you'll see their records are almost the same. YET, Warne was able to do so without having ICC rules modified to allow him to play.

  • @gypoinc First of all, a lot of Murali's wickets against Zimbabwe came when they were quite a decent batting outfit (with the likes of the Flower brothers, Campbell etc in the mix) so excluding all wickets against Zimbabwe is not a fair comparison. Secondly, you are still incorrect about the number of wickets against tail enders. Thirdly Murali's still has a better average and a similar strike rate to Warne. Fourthly, the ICC did not change the rules to accommodate Murali. That's utter nonsense.

  • @gypoinc Under the original rules, Warne would have also been "chucking" - just because no one suspected it doesn't mean its so ... sure it looks classical, but the mechanics of bowling are such that there is extension through the elbow. To suggest that the ICC changed the rules to allow Murali to play is utter nonsense ... what was so special about him? the Asian bloc theory doesn't work, other Asian bowlers have had to undergo remedial modifications. Do you believe in all conspiracy theories?

  • @gypoinc Regardless of all this, my original point was to show the nonsense you were spouting with regards to the spread of their wickets in terms of top order / tail enders ... And a further load of nonsense you spouted was about McGrath (who has 282 top order wickets) as opposed to 225 that Warne has. It appears that you have no idea what you are talking about, yet you like to assert things as fact even when its blatantly untrue. Seriously why do you spout such crap?

  • @pubuman Noth If you count Murali getting Mohammed Ashraful out while Warne was taking Pietersen's wicket then I agree with you on that point. Murali took wickets against MORE low quality opposition , on wickets which generally suited his style. None of the wickets in Australia, perhaps the odd dust bowl in Sydney suited Warne and that's where he played a great deal of his cricket. Murali played on dry wickets in Sri Lanka tailored to suit him, that's no secret.

  • @gypoinc So now you've completely changed your point. Well first things first - you were completely wrong in your original post. Now for the current point. Murali's record in Eng, NZ and WI is superior to Warne ... Murali averages 19, 20, 23, Warne aves 22, 21, 40 ... Murali has a slightly worse average in SA (26 vs 25) ... huh .. so all of those places must have gone around tailor making wickets suited to Murali's style I guess .. who knew! Its a GLOBAL conspiracy against Warne ...

  • @stj1003 Mind telling me when he ever bent his elbow in such a manner that it would be called chucking, fuckwit? You're just one of those assholes who goes around trying to make good players seem like they aren't because you're just too damn jealous that you couldn't make ANY cricket team when you played. Fucking idiot.

  • the first view probably shows why it wasn't given out,its too hard to tell and the benefit of the doubt goes to the batsman.

  • woulda been hard to call from ump view

  • well it should've been out caught behind ecause it hit the bat first

  • but you can't see that from the front on view.

  • I have noticed this strange tendency towards violent homo-eroticism when Indians and Australians debate the merits of their respective cricket teams. I was wondering if the inverse was true: If you guy's talked about violent homo-eroticism would you end actually talking about cricket.

  • its for caught behind you fool.

  • funny and good reply .........i think jjindahoooos221 thought that i was LBW..

    he must learn cricket rules

  • you need to get a life...all you do is post these disgusting and unfunny comments

  • yeah u really need to jus kill yourself nobody wants to hear the discussting shit that your saying, so fuck you, you curry munching piece of shit (no offence to any other indian its fuck heads like this guy that make ya look bad)

  • are you on drugs i never sed anything about buttfucking your jus an immature little boy lost in a big world. i would love to see u go up to symonds and say that too his face cuz boy u will get fucked up, plus your asian so u have a small penis you jerk off

  • are you gay?

  • fuck off cunt b4 som1 finds out who u r and belts the fuck out of u. Now that would be funny u fuckwit!

  • atleast he's not racist

  • It' soo sad when these arguments and comments go beyond the game of cricket... what a childish display of humanity.

  • yeah bloody oath. "check out play-cam*com" is as far as i could tell completely unrelated...

  • @sjperera your comment is outside the game of cricket.

  • Check Out Play-Cam * COM

  • Apparently Australia are always on the good end of the umpiring

  • no, just most of the time

  • Yes they are the reason why we've been the best team in the world for 10 years now.

Suck it up India you fools how about you realise we're simply better than you rather than blaming the umpires.

  • haha... I'm not even India... I'd actually sport Australia when they play India. The truth of the matter is Australia like England have had their charm, but unlike England - I wouldn't put Australia's success onto luck. Luck can play a pivotal role, with Australia discipline and professionalism - add in a dash of luck - the opposition doesn't have much of a chance.

  • Sorry if I bit your head off mate but I'm sick of the Indians trying to blame the umpires for a series loss.

All good sporting teams need some luck to win, that is common knowledge.

  • Yeah... luck's a part of it. Eitherway, past is past... Australia in India should be a good game... y'all seem to be the only team India wants to play against...

tonight, Murali-Mendis take on India while the Proteas try to seal an English campaign! (Now there's a competition where luck's a part of the historic rivalry)

  • I hope SL crush India obviously and want the Saffers to beat England.

  • SL and SA it is...

  • haha

  • prince is a fantastic cricketer!

  • symo the gun!

  • it doesnt matter what cricket video you go to, theres always an Australia Vs. India fight in the comment box.. sad

  • ur a fuking cunt u indians cant play cricket. ur the guys who cant govern ur own country and half ur kids are prostitutes, so y dont u go home and fuck ur mum

  • u dumb shit if we woke up tmrw and all decided to pee...we are going to have lake australia..lmao..shut up i wasnt going to join in but u are talking shit against us.

  • oh so does bucknor still favour aussies?

  • fool

  • Look who the umpire is!

  • prince is shit

  • that is a shocker of a decision.... we still won anyway tho lol

  • other teams need some luck against australia. they probably won anyway

  • Thats out but,its a difficult dicition to make!!! There should be no more tecnology in cricket.

  • Honestly pretty tough decision to give. All the more reason why technology should be used in international cricket

  • i hate ashwell prince

  • steve bucknor is great umpire, it wasn't out any ways; ball didn't hit the bat only it hit the pad.

that is the reason why he was not given out.

  • Dude no way he's give so many unfair descisions against Tendulkar

  • can u post a video, which show steve bucknor giving wrong decision against tendulkar,#

    thanks.

  • lol? bro it's still out if its bat-pad

  • i think its given not out, because as the umpire is looking down the pitch, the ball is travelling on a line, then when he nicks it, it changes direction but then hits the pad, which makes it resume its original direction and look untouched.

  • you can tell if they nick it when they look behind to see if the keeper catches it

  • Mostly yeah, but also if you look at the batsman his head drops after he looks behind which can be a tell tale sign!

  • falconhunter, if its bat on pad u cant give lbw but u cant still give caught behind dumb idiot

  • lmao, falconhuntor u dumb shit

  • So if it hid the bad he still nicked it so its out

  • it hit the pad, thats why it's not out!

  • take the good with the bad

  • get over it lol

  • well it was virtually undetectable from the front. that nick can only be seen from teh back

  • how can that not be out???
