  • thanks for posting!

     Good dog !!!

  • Thank you for posting this. This would be much cheaper than spending 10 dollars each on the Twin Draft guards at Fleet Farm. And your doggy, Sophie, is so adorable! Is she a Great Dane?

  • @VikingLady219 She's a Wiemaraner and now has a 17 week old Wiemie "sister."

I think that stopping cold air coming into your home in any way possible can only help with your heating costs (and keep you nice and toasty in the winter).

  • @lcdemers I figured she was either a Great Dane or a Wiemaraner (I didn't know how to spell that one!). So how old is Sophie and what's her sister's name?

And these draft guards are a great idea. I did not realize this until recently, but when the garage light is turned on and we have the inside lights off, we can see light under our door. One of our doors open into our garage and I now know that's where a lot of the cold air comes in. And we live in MN!

  • @VikingLady219 Sophie is 2 years old and her sister's name is Lola.

Those draft guards are easy enough to make. I hope you stay warm this winter.

  • Thanks for sharing! :)
