If my friend runs the fpHTA68 on the FP cast manifold, running a 3' turboback, some type of intake, GM maf translator and a AFC neo; would I be missing anything crucial?? besides limping it to you for a tune, lol...

Test was done out of wanting to know. For the most part they are very close.
No a 16g is a 16g and a FP68HTA 16g has a custom wheel in it so it will make more hp then a EVOIII 16g. From what I have seen the 68hta does not really do better till high boost on the edge. So for the avg guy a 68hta and a EvoIII 16g you will not know the difference.
You will be fine with he 68hta on that combo.

have not seen the video yet, but all I can think is, was this done for just curiosity??? no sponsorship bias? lol j/k... now I'll watch it.
-Random question: an FP hta68, a rebuilt 16g, correct? Any advice on running this turbo on a 90' stock block tsi???
