wow thanks for this video, now i know what was wrong with my dog. It just happened to me like 10minutes ago. I tried to give him water but he wouldn't drink. I let him be. Now he seems okay.

We have several Yorkies. Cousre mine is a pet, my wife shows. We have one dog, she has started doing reverse sneezing or has a collapsed trach. Only thing is she snorts and mouth stays shut, but has a pronoucned honking sound and finishes up like shes gagging trying to couch something up. However, it's been severe since it started. Our vet out of town, called and gave the usual remedy. She can't have surgery due to a 5th stage heart murmur. Hope it's not a trach and just rever. sneez.

My little Cavalier King Charles Spaniel does that too! I was wondering what that was! Thank goodness it's not dangerous!

it isnt harmful it is a gag reflex when air goes up a nose it is only for a few seconds

It's called reversed sneezing. It's throat spasms. It sounds like she tries to breath through her nose, but can't. After they calm down, it goes away. It's not serious or fatal, but it is scary!

poor little thing mine does that to, we did not knew what it was until we went to the vet yesterday.
