wow im really surprised noone knew about this. i did my first run-through of helgen with mouse and keyboard and henceforth on my controller for windows.

but in the run-through i learned about hotkeys pretty much like with dual-wielding. simple and obvious. then again, i have played oblivion on pc for a long time and i used hotkeys for that all the time.

I have a problem at the moment where screenshots are saving with the .BMP file extension, but every program I try to open them in all tell me the same thing; that it's an unsupported file type. Which is nonsense, because I use 256 colour bmps and 24-bit bmps all the time. Any thoughts on this, anyone? Is there some other bitmap type (like say a 32-bit) that I just haven't heard of?

@DrChalkwithering Thats really odd. I havent had that problem and can open the BMP with anything as normal. Also my skyrim saves 2 files when I hit print screen, a BMP AND a PNG. Odd.

So sorry I cant help with that :(

@Axeface1 I got round it by using Steam's screenshot generator (F12 key, for all you Steamsters out there who are experiencing the same thing) instead of Print Screen.

How do i grab things ? i need to drag a body but i dont know the button and cant find it in the controls/settings

can u help me? i'm not so sure if i'm doing it right. its about the bMouseAcceleration=0 well i deleted fMouseHeadingSensitivty=0.0500 and replaced it with bMouseAcceleration is it right? when i tested doesn't seem to be what i expected but the mouse seems faster

@chaoshart No you you need to add the line, or find it and change it. Dont remove lines. It could be there, but sometimes it isnt. Should put the other line back too probably.

arent hotkeys only 1-8 on the keyboard? There's not 9 keys because of the stupid fact that console D-pads only have 8 directions for shotcuts like in Oblivion and Fallout3.

@mkygod the console version doesnt work like that, when you fav something, you either press up or down on the dpad to open the fav menu, then you scroll through the fav items

@PeaceWalkerify No you cant, you have to bring up the console and type tfc again to turn it off. Also, if you want action shots, open the console at a cool point, and type 'TFC 1' instead. It will freeze the game like that :) Type TFC 0 to reset TFC 1

But.. can you choose in witch hand the shortcut works..?

@asurin007 nope dont think so. Press the spell twice and you'll get in in both hands. Equip a weapon again and it will go to your main hand

how to unequip a spell in the right hand. don't tell me just click again on it because it doesn't work for right hand spells. right hand 1h -weapons works but spells not.
