@icanthinkofanything not really a style. I guess it's muey thai since he uses lots of elbow. but he mixed it up, like most martial artist, they evolve the traditional moves to meet their satisfaction
The whole movie is great but the fight scene is flawless and makes you cringe when you see the scene. When you find your self wincing you know its pretty cool.
the best fighting scene from Donnie Yen. In this movie he dun use kung fu only, he use mixed. i saw other then kung fu,just like box, kickboxing, bjj n also a judo! Also that fake move n combination is great! i just dunno what to say... just like this, ok...
I love it btw, Donnie fighting styles are based on Chinese Martial Arts (Wushu, Tai Chi, Wing Chun) and other Martial Arts (Boxing, Kickboxing, Tae-Kwon-Do, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Judo, Karate, and Wrestling) and he also introduced some of the elements of Bruce Lee's Jeet Kune Do in his film Fist of Fury 1995
Thumbs up if I'm right or thumbs down if I'm wrong. btw, if u really want to know what Martial Arts did Donnie learned, check the wikipedia or other resources. u know.
the stunt man got all the beating.... poor thing

this is extremely realistic. But as we all know hollywood loves to exaggerate.

I can't stop watching the move at 4:47. That's like a video game/anime move that he just pulled IN REAL LIFE.

Why can't there be a Wing Chun MMA fighter or even kick boxer!! Those fights don't look as good as this.
