I didn't play the EX series, it was total garbage in comparison to the other street fighter games I was told. Even in Capcom interviews for SF4 the Capcom crew was asked about the EX series and they said.

"oh...well...we're doing our best to leave the EX series behind us..."

Not even the creators liked it, so why should I? Well that was my way of thinking anyhow.

Not really. The songs I´ve heard in you tube videos were all edited, none of them was the original one.

The reason why the theme is the same is why Ryu fully controls his hadouken at the same time Ken was fighting Vega. The scenes changed constantly in the later part of the fight, but the music remains the same. Thats why in the original version that was the theme.

Balrog`s theme is probably my favorite. I still remember the sensation of the first time I beat all the original fighters, I was like: WHAT there are MORE characters?!?! And as that epic theme started lots of people reacted to it and started flocking around me cheering me on... Yeah may sound cheesy now, but when I was like 11 years old or something this beyond epic, and probably one of the reasons I to this day seem so attached to video games.

I agree with the music part, the characters where so-so, with the exception of Skullomania, he was pure genius and should be used in other street fighter games. The rest where rather generic in my opinion. We all diss the game now, but when it first came out EVERYONE I have ever known was like: OMG A 3D streetfighter cool! SFEX3 should never have existed, ARIKA themselves knew it was crap and added that stupid credits level with a fat growing guy with afro, and added Mr:T at Bison's stage.
