have you read the books? he or she did a great job based on the actors they had to work with. id like to see you do better. you cant find a person that exactly fits the characters that is impossible. they are imaginary.
My only problems were with Edward, Jean-Claude and Dolph. I think Jean-Claude might need to be just a little bit more prettier. As for Edward, I think he needs to have more of a rugged handsome look to him. And Dolph. I always thought of him as a bit older, with a once handsome face. I think Dwayne Johnson might be a bit too young for the part. But besides those 3, that was amazing!!! I hope they turn the books into movies. :]

This is probably the 8th fancast list I've seen for an Anita Blake movie and I have to admit it's not bad. Ironically three of your choices seem to be the most popular in other lists; Stuart Townsend as Jean Claude, Dakota Fanning as Nikolas, and Steve Busceme as Wally. I like your choice for Anita, she's hot. However, I did notice one little hiccup. The first movie would obviously be "Guilty Pleasures" , but you forgot to cast Phillip. How about Robert Pattinson? Still, I like this cast.

You should check-out the graphic novel adaptation. Maybe an artist's perspective will help you picture your actors better. Movie people use comics for storyboards so why not? It's just a suggestion but I hope it helps.

Skin Trade is actually one of her best Anita books in a while (IMO). I loved it. There's a lot of action, a little sex, and more character development of Anita. Read it, I think you'll like it.
Anita looks a little too asian and not enough hispanic. I pictured Jean Claude like Antonio Benderes. nathaniel is not what I pictured. richard could be micah. I like the micah you picked too. Belle Morte looks perfect. I pictured Byron a little broader. good pick for Raina. LOVE jason. sylvie could be anita with curlier hair. claudia should be more muscled. Ronnie and Bert= perfect. the rock is a little young. Dominga is awesome.

i loved alot of your choices for the "cast"....the guy you choice for nathaniel--perfect. Also, richard-belle morte-jason-asher....i could go on and on. There was only a few that i couldnt picture.....wicked and truth i visualized different but that's just in my head and jean-claude......i love stuart townsend (LOVED him in QOTD)......but i just dont see him as our Jean-Claude....awesome job though i loved it.

Obviously, these are the people that I picked based on how I saw the characters in my head. Feel free to put whoever you want in your casting picks when you make a video yourself.

As did I! Most of the casting would be great in my opinion. I did chuckle when I saw Famke Jansen (I am Dutch to), but I can see it happen.
Just one point, I don't think that the character Jason got the attention he deserves with just one photo.

almost the entire thing was perfect!!!
My only problems were with Edward, Jean-Claude and Dolph. I think Jean-Claude might need to be just a little bit more prettier. As for Edward, I think he needs to have more of a rugged handsome look to him. And Dolph. I always thought of him as a bit older, with a once handsome face. I think Dwayne Johnson might be a bit too young for the part. But besides those 3, that was amazing!!! I hope they turn the books into movies. :]

some very excellent choices. jensen ackles is a perfect jason. i had never considered lucy lawless as claudia but strongly agree there. devon aoki is so meng die, badass. Nicols could probably play dominga salvador pretty well. if she could be scary enough. jason berh, a great choice for richard. good job!

And as for Jean claude I liked the guy you chose but I dont think anyone could ever really play Jean claude. i am not so sure about the guy who is going to play Jean Claude. he looks to scrawny to play the part. Jean Claude is supposed to be really tall and buff. not too buff but he has broad shoulders. im just not too sure. but he looks like he can pass on weraing lacy stuff like him.

This is probably the 8th fancast list I've seen for an Anita Blake movie and I have to admit it's not bad. Ironically three of your choices seem to be the most popular in other lists; Stuart Townsend as Jean Claude, Dakota Fanning as Nikolas, and Steve Busceme as Wally. I like your choice for Anita, she's hot. However, I did notice one little hiccup. The first movie would obviously be "Guilty Pleasures" , but you forgot to cast Phillip. How about Robert Pattinson? Still, I like this cast.

You should check-out the graphic novel adaptation. Maybe an artist's perspective will help you picture your actors better. Movie people use comics for storyboards so why not? It's just a suggestion but I hope it helps.

I liked all of your line up except for to. The first one is Lt. Dolph Storr, I dont know, thats just weird. But thats just me. Secondly would be Jean Claude. I love Stewart, he is super hot, but NO ONE can capture the captivating goodness of Jean Claude. That's nothing against you. I probably wouldn't watch an Anita Blake movie, because I just don't think they could get Jean Claude right. That's just my opinion though.

although i agree with some of your pics, ya gotta remember that Anita is a more voluptuous woman, meaning more in the boobs and bootie department, and Dwayne Johnson is too young for Dolph. And if I can remember right, cuz i'm already reading Skin Trade right now, wasn't Cherry a more on the edge leopard? I just can't picture it with the actress you picked, but other than that, great job.

I'm actually thinking about re-casting Michael Chiklis as Lt. Dolph (if I ever take the time to make another video). I think that the girl I picked to play Cherry has the acting chops to pull it off. You can do wonders with makeup and the right outfit, but thanks for commenting.

and i agree with you to a point. i mean yes, there is a LOT of sex, but theres also a crap load of power/magic stuff going on. she seems to be gaining all this power and has not had anything to use it on. for like the past 5 or so books.
the story line has gone down the crapper. but i will continue reading. have you tried the meredith gentry series?

Skin Trade is actually one of her best Anita books in a while (IMO). I loved it. There's a lot of action, a little sex, and more character development of Anita. Read it, I think you'll like it.

Anita looks a little too asian and not enough hispanic. I pictured Jean Claude like Antonio Benderes. nathaniel is not what I pictured. richard could be micah. I like the micah you picked too. Belle Morte looks perfect. I pictured Byron a little broader. good pick for Raina. LOVE jason. sylvie could be anita with curlier hair. claudia should be more muscled. Ronnie and Bert= perfect. the rock is a little young. Dominga is awesome.

Gaspard Ulliel would be great Jean-Claude, but also would Nir Lavi :) I can't imagine anyone else as him except maybe one of these two... and Kate Beckinsale could be Anita... Anyway, the choice for other characters is great :)))

I made sure that I paid close attention to all of your choices. All of them are good choices. You reminded me of the small irony of Anita's triumvirate. Damien and Nathaniel have some version of red hair.
