@IcyOcean01 If your hair is parted to the side one section will be bigger leading to different amounts of waviness. I hope this helped. :)

I'd say that really depends on your hair type/texture. My hair is naturally straight, yet textured enough that it holds waves and curls pretty easily. I often braid my hair -completely dry- to bed and the next morning it is wavy and holds throughout the day.. damping it for me before braiding would simply make the waves more defined and maybe help them hold even longer, but is not necessary.

I would say try it with your hair dry, see how it works for you. :)

I tried this and i loved it!! I let my hair air dry for about an hour(my hair is very thick so it takes a very long time to dry), then i put the rope braids in(i did three because i was afraid my layers would fall out with only 2).i got beautiful curls that would not budge no matter how much i tried to make them into waves! Lol it looked like i spent hours!! Yay!(:

@ch0c0lat3luvS Honestly, in the video, my bangs were SOOO grown out and too long! I usually get them a little bit shorter so they hit right below eye level. I always ask for long layers and angles in the front that blend in with the bangs.

@xoalyssaxo3 You need to twist the individual pieces in the same direction and then twist them together in the OPPOSITE direction. It takes some practiced coordination, but try again :)

@lifeOfMorgans You need your hair to at least by slightly damp otherwise it will most likely not work. If you are starting with dry hair you should use a spray bottle to light wet your hair or brush some water through your hair with your hands.

@jmmanginelli Yes :) If you can get the twist to stay more tightly together then the waves will be tighter as well. I did mine pretty tight.

@kutiepie2k6 it will work on wet hair but like she said in the video, it will take a very long time to dry. I always braid my hair after I take and a shower and sleep on it, but in the morning its still very wet.
