I agree. Mr. Gravel IS a tool for boys (or whatever Moncef's point was). I was just wanting to make sure everyone DOES accept the POSSIBILITY he might just be HUMAN. Some people wouldn't even admit that.
I think he has stones. Gallstones. Why do we need a president who runs a high risk of dying of old age or a heart attack? Who will his Vice President be? That's obviously who we should be looking at as President if this guy wins.
What Mike Gravel will do with that "power" he may or may not seek, is something I am not anxious of. Mike Gravel wants to give power to the people. That is something no candidate has spoken of. Now if you want to take away power from the President (to balance what President Bush had done in giving that office power) then look no further than Gravel. He is not my choice. He does not have my ideals. I will not vote for him. But he has the stones to not fall to corruption.
Mike Gravel has the stones to sacrifice himself. Mike Gravel has the stones to be truthful. Mike Gravel wants the Presidency. Mike Gravel wants to help America!
He thinks he wants to be the President. I think he wants the power of President. I think he has a record of standing up against corruption and sacrificing himself (as he did in the 70s) for the people of America. Of course, he wants power. But you have to realize that a major reason you haven't heard of this guy is because he DIDN'T fall to corruption in the 70s and the Corporations who annoint the "acceptable" candidates. Sarcasm is the tool of boys.
Has anyone stopped to think that maybe, just MAYBE... he wants to be in the White House and be President... and THAT'S IT? Anyone at all?
Maybe he just wants the ultimate position of power. Anyone agree? You're right. I'm sure he would hate the pay increase he'd receive and all the power, he just wants to help people. You're right. Sorry.
I think it's painfully obvious that the position is attractive for the reasons you mentioned.
However, I think it is a fallacy to assume and cruel, immoral and silly to state that any candidate is simply trying to cozen the presidency without reasonable evidence suggesting its truth.

not a bad message.. however, please please please stop speeding up the footage. Its obvious, you take away from any authenticity he brings to the table, and it's annoying as hell. If he's a slower speaker than he should be in this campaign then that is an issue that he needs to confront/address himself. quit it.
First time i've heard you mention your (implied) support of same sex marriage. Good for you. Good for everyone. I hope you'll be more clear on that issue in the future. I hope you also make clear your position regarding homosexuals in the Army.
