he's NOT a QH, he's a mustang! The basic way to tell I think is to look at the shade...most of the time a dun has more of a yellow coat..where as a buckskin has more of a tan, or sandy coat. Another easy way to tell is to look for a dorsal stripe. A dorsal stripe is a black or brown stripe that goes from the horses withers, to the head of their tail...most of the time duns are more likly to have a dorsal stripe than buckskins. he's a dun mustang!
