Wow. I'm playing Enobarbus and just happened to come across this searching him. I never anticipated being called back in for Enobarbus, thinking I am too young for the character. So it's....interesting.....to see Mr. Stewart played him at basically the same time of life.

The points he makes about ultimately talking about acting/feeling the text and there not being ONE way into playing Shakespeare (or anything)....all the real deal; very much so.

You know what's amazing about this 30 year old clip? Patrick Stewart doesn't look at all that different than he does today. He simply has a few more wrinkles and that's about it. How far back do you have to go to see any difference I wonder. Did he look like this when he was in his 20s too?

Thanks for posting this. I have seen photos of Patrick Stewart's work in the Royal Shakespeare Company in the70's but never thought of see a clip of him during this era.
