  • that's the graphic card dying... I know :(((

  • a connector is probably loose. try unscrewing it at reconnecting it properly. i had exactly the same problem.

  • Looks like the video card died. This has happened to two iMacs that I service. Like the iMacs, the video card is soldered to the logic board and cannot be end-user replaced.

    If you have AppleCare, it will be fixed for you, free.

    If you don't, it will probably cost too much to bother with. Just salvage all the parts you can from the now-dead computer and buy a new one. But do check the repair cost first - only you can decide if it's more cost-effective than purchasing a new machine.
