  • ALLRIGHT A KISS CONCERT! (:>)

  • Your suppose to put the seafoam in slow not let it all suck up at once dumba*S

  • @bostonbruins1717 Now they have one really clean spot in their engine from the seafoam sitting there for 10 minutes and the rest is full of sludge

  • Seafoam mazda

  • Seafoam

  • It's funny I wish my sc400 will stop smoking lol

  • i didnt think making your car look like it has a blown ehadgasket was teh cool thing to do now adays.

  • hi guys i got the same problem is this only on cold start ups ? but once the engine warms up its ok ?

  • Yeah WTF!!! I mean god, WTF!!! Riced muff on a v8 how dare you! Bent ones are way better, WTF!!! WWWTTTTFFFFF!!!

  • @beenhereforhours be quiet , boy

  • Ok, nice sc but why the fuck are you running those riced muff's on a v8? And there not even straight..Wtf?

  • So why are you using seafoam in your car?

  • Comment removed

  • @beenhereforhours to bad your comment was deleted :P ha ha

  • The smoke matches your car.

  • Obviously everyone must be retarded because even though the carbon smoke is black, its not the only thing coming out of the car. Your revving the gas, seafoam, carbon and other gases out of the car soo obviously its not gonna be pure black. Seafoam really helps your car if you plan to do it right..

  • if it was carbon the smoke would be black... this seafoam thing is useless if you really want to remove the carbon build in your motor just go on the highway at 140 km/h downshift to the 3rd gear ... and admire the black cloud behind.

  • this should be called. how to FUCK up ur car (the easy way)

    i love the sc400.

  • flixya.com/user/florin_fasie

  • wow thats a fast starter lol

  • Some ppl put it into their oil... this particular guy says to put 1/2 can into oil.

  • @gman2000 Ah, i didnt have the audio on :(

Yeah... putting it in the oil isnt a good idea.

  • They think the smoke is the carbon deposits leaving the engine. If it was only that easy to turn a solid back into a gas and have it exit the tailpipe.

  • It's amazing how this snake oil is still sold and used by unsuspecting "car guys". I wouldn't put this in my engine, esp. the oil. You don't want to put a solvent where it doesn't belong, you have bearings in there and seals to protect. I still have yet to see anyone take apart the head, take before pictures/vids, put it back together, "sea foam" it, then take it apart and show after pictures/vids.

  • @gman2000 Um... where does it say to put it in the oil??

You suck it into the intake manifold and cylinders where it softens up & removes the carbon deposits.

  • Comment removed

  • @gman2000 Uh, cause that's a lot of work. Well, i put it in through the vacuum line on a enterprise rental car i had, 2011 ford focus with 1300 miles, and it smoked just as much as this truck, if not more. Your telling me that car had that much carbon buildup at 1300 miles? No. No way. The smoke you see is the seafoam itself burning off. The only plus to this stuff is it is supposed to help absorb water from the fuel tank if used as an additive.

  • car sounds good, what mufllers are you running?

  • First, learn to park.

  • it would have been correct if you let it suck slowly

  • simi valley?

  • also, a small amount of seafoam does bleed past the rings into the oil, it is a good idea to change the oil (and to foam the oil too!) at the same time.

The method above will only clean the combustion chamber... if you actually do this without killing the car it will also clean the valves.

  • also, a small amount of seafoam does bleed past the rings into the oil, it is a good idea to change the oil (and to foam the oil too!) at the same time.

  • This is not the correct way to seafoam your car. What the vid shows is taking too much soafoam into the engine at once and killing it by flooding the spark plugs. LUCKY it did not hydro-lock.

To properly seafoam use a vacc line from the manifold as shown, but use a smaller line and allow the engine to run the entire time. let the vac line "sip" a bit, and prevent the car from dying. Hydrolock sucks, don't suck large amounts of fluid in the chambers.

OP: Thanks for sharing hope this helps.

  • Don't need to change your oil unless you put in in your oil. Unless you just need an oil change. Just sayin... Even if you put it in you can ride for about 150 miles before having to change.

  • its a v8 so why the big ass ricer mufflers

  • @YoungerPrice these cars are similar to supras so you will see lots of similarities in styling. consider this a luxury ricer haha

  • @KYLEFUCKINGMILLER too bad supras arnt ricers

  • @YoungerPrice some people like the muffled sound of a v8

  • The last 10 seconds should be labelled "Get pulled over and get a expensive ass ticket.

  • Poor car. The things owners do to them. If it was alive it would run you right into a wall.

  • what does a seafoam do exactly?

  • @ruel111 Cleans Carbon Deposits out of the Engine i think.

  • @form109 didnt they prove this shit has some big risks and doesnt really do any good anyways?

  • @fergus1494 i dunno

  • @fergus1494 i dont know

  • @ruel111 Waste your money and risk breaking a conrod/ cracking piston cause its got water and alcohol mix which doesn't compress :). Most people don't realize! Only really good mixed in with fuel to clean injectors/ valves and in weak amounts.

  • i think these are the cars that end up in the junk yard lol

  • how does the exhaust smell after u get done doing this? does it smell cleaner? and does it help performance?

  • Dudes, I did this treatment 2 hours ago Nov. 1, 2010 on a 1990 Toyota Pick up 22R. All i can say try it. Amazing difference on my baby. Runs stronger/smooth, idles quiet. Before doing any engine work or anything, just try a simple cleaning. See for your self. You wont be disappointed.

  • @carlos197069 1990 Toyota pickups used the 22RE, not the 22R. the difference is fuel injection, Toyota made this change in 1989(the first year of 5th generation Hilux's)

  • Pretty dumb to submerge a vacuum hose in liquid and suck a non-compressible liquid into the engine "Until it stalls" , if anything its a slow siphon, not a garden hose into the intake

  • Yeah I didnt poor any into my oil...i have a 95 VR6 jetta, just half in the tank and half was sucked up using a nipple on the throttle body. I will probably still do an oil change.

  • pfft....looks like you are simply pouring kerosene into the engine. revving and driving around high rpm after putting kerosene in engine...good way to destroy engine.

  • hey bro for what is this

  • What does seafoam do to the car? And why should I?

  • @godrilla no because ur not spinning your tires ur just cleaning the engine once its clean the smoke stops

  • @ezkeyboardkid58 Lol bro. You answered the wrong question....

  • @godrilla lol i just noticed i meant to answer nightkid60

  • nice car

  • So if I go to a burn out show can I use this>?

I need a lot of smoke lol

  • @nightkid60 hey thats cheating.

  • yea i have a lexus SC300 turbo i would never open my hood if i cant follow BASIC instuctions imean cars are not for stupid people

  • Ahhh, just read the fucking directions on the back of the can morons. If you can't figure it out, don't open your hood...

  • that is the UGLYEST car ive ever seen

  • @DIENAMICProductions are you fucking serious!??! dude get the FUCK OFF youtube and off of car videos! go drive ur shitty ass pontiac aztec some where else and fall off a cliff you fucking douche!

  • @sexyboi142 i actually dont drive an aztec thank you... i own 2 cars and partially own 1 2001 V6 mustang.... 2003 infinity g35... and i partially own a 07 300C

  • @DIENAMICProductions every singel car you mentioned was a POS besides ur crap skyline (G35) seriously....just stop

  • @sexyboi142 really? what do you drive? mustang (fenderwell intake, steeda underdrive pullys, slr performance chip, diablo tune, dule flow master super 40s

and weight reduction.. pulls about 312 hp) 300c stock 340(now 390 hp) stock 390 lbs torque(432 now) and g35 stock besides exhaust and intake

  • @DIENAMICProductions i have a 2003 cavi coupe, 05 Cayenne S, 05 chevy equinox, 03 chevy trailblazer and a 2005 honda accord

  • @DIENAMICProductions not everyone is rich moron

  • i hope u didnt poor it in ur crankcase and rev and drive it like that!!!!!! that shit will thin out ur oil and driving like that with thinned oil u will spin a bearing!!!!!!!

  • im kinda lost here what is the point of seafoam a car i mean it looks like ya blew a headgasket to me lol to me its just a waste of money can somone give me any heads up wat it dose cheers

  • I like to drive the shit out of my car right after i seafoam it.

  • Worst instructional video ever.

  • what it does is simple.. ur pretty much steaming the shit out of ur engine. which in turn lossens the carbon build ups.. being a auto apprentice theres things to do and not to do.. if the vacum hose sucks up to much at once.. well water doesnt compress so ur engine hydrolics and then ur out a engine.. so just use a little bit at a time.. .. a old hotrod trick is good old H2o.. water works just as well.

  • Hey i have a 2003 Dodge Intrepid SE and i just picked up a SeaFoam from the store which i believe is used to clean the fuel system. Well my question is that iam planning for long trip shortly to Duluth MN and if i can pour the whole of Seafoam completely into my GAS TANK before i fill it up and start the road ?? Please suggest...

  • @muhizon Its not for your gas tank so no you dont want to pour it into your gas tank. I sugguest for long trip, Have an oil change, check your tire pressure and top of your gas fillup with one of those synthetic gas cleaners. ($4.00 in any local gas station)

  • @YungDef The seafoam can recommends putting some in the gas

  • wtf are you doing why teh fuck are you revving it you fukn d-bag.. let it settle in the engine dnt rev you fukn d-bag/ your fukn cocky

  • @likess shut up moron! you have to use air pressure to release the carbon from the valves. (Reving the enginge) Or running it through high RPMS to let the air flow.. Shut up learn what hes doing then you can speak again.

  • Is that a V8?

  • @cars2cars yes, all lexus SC400s came standard with V8s...infact it was the only engine available then came the SC300 which featured a VVTI V6

  • Is this better than Chevron Techron concentrate?

  • Warning: It does say on the Sea Foam manufacturers website that you should add the seafoam in a regulated way. You are not supposed to put the vaccum hose into it. Obviously it didn't hurt this car and probably wouldn't hurt others. But something to consider.

  • I don't believe much in this seafoam shit, maybe it cleans up carbon but probably fucks your engine... A better way to get carbon out of the engine is to floor the shit out of it some day of the week.

  • @StanleyV6 I've done thatmany times, My truck still runs at 400,000 miles.

  • this stuff gave me an instant 5hp increase maybe more!! its much more responsive now...but i just hope that i didnt permanetly damage any sensors...i only did this because smog is due and i barely passed last time..i hope my cat is o.k., i did an immediate oil change after.

  • Warning!! i just tried this procedure but used the brake booster line on my Camaro, only used a third can and it only took less than a couple minutes to pour in. stopped car and waited about ten to fifteen minutes... started up Fanstactic!! BUT, i had a check engine light on,got out the obdII and it said maf sensor, and was listed an O2 sensor..cleaned up maf with contact cleaner and that cleared the Fault, but for the O2.. i had to drive 50 miles before it would reset them I/M monitors.

  • @axlerodder it's just your engine being dumb cause it thinks there's something wrong. anything you do to mess with the mixture or engine in general will make the CEL come on. hell even putting a new stereo in my car did.

  • @KAG8893 no it didn't.

  • Seafoam is a #1 BEST!

STAY AWAY FROM IMMITATIONS LIKE RedLine.

    Seafoam is 100% petroleum based.

Your moneys worth or your money back!

  • Seafoam is a # BEST!

Stay away from RedLine SI-1 or any other immitations!

Seafoam is all 100% petroleum based.

If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase Seafoam will reimburse you!

  • Looking to buy a car soon, SC400 or mustang GT, like the 400 better, only thing is, its now at least 10 years old, up to 20 years old. I know I know the reliability of 400 will be better than a GT, but, parts, while can be had today, its less and less, and in 5 years or so? even if i rebuild the engine/tranny, its all those other parts, 500 for this censor, 250 for that thingy, that worries me. share anyone?

  • what does this do for the car?

  • what is sea foam?

  • I have the same engine in my LS400. The 1UZFE is a very nice engine.

  • @BassRacerx Its better to do it before an oil change, because Seafoam CAN thin out oil. You dont want your engine to be runnin on water ;-)

  • NO. Do no leave this in your oil. Add it to the existing oil, and then just do a change after about 20 miles or so.

  • @420Honey

    Seafoam can recommends 200 miles.

  • nnnnooooooooo ..... you do it before your oil change, think seafoam as soap or detergeant to your engine it mix with your old oil and make it really thin, then you change your oil to new oil, if you leave seafoam in you engine for a long time , your are going to damage your engine, bi time

  • Alright guys do you home work, Sc400 have th 1 uzfe v8, SC300 have the 2JZGE non turbo, The japanese Sc300, {Soarer} has the 1JZGTTE.

  • @mx6ndfrspd and the Jap sc300 came out in 2 engines.... 1991-1996 1JZGTE Twin turbo and 1996+ came out with a 1JZGTE single turbo "VVTi" very torque at lower rpm.

  • all 3 are BEAUTIFUL engines :]

mhmmm mhm i love the sounds of a well tuned 1UZ

  • nice farts cans on the lexus.... I didnt think it was possible to rice a lexus and you sir have done a mighty fine job!

  • He could have tucked them a little better but this car is by far not rice at all.

  • not rice at all

  • Oh my God, I just jizzed in my pants. I had no idea the old SC's sounded so nice. What engine do they have, and do you have any mods for your car?

Very beautiful looking neighborhood too, btw.

  • @bobbertobber

SC400 has a 1uzfe Lexus V-8 and only come automatic.

SC300 Has a 1jzge and can be auto or manual, Manuals are much rarer though.

  • @inertiaFC3S

    Soarers have 1JZ's, SC300s have 2JZ-GE's

  • Ahh, forgot about that lol,

Thanks for the heads up bro!

  • Thats only in japan in the us we get 2jz-ge

  • uhh no

    i have an sc400 with a 1uzfe

    and im in texas

  • wow what a nice car and place for living. respect

  • What your supposed to do is 1/3 in the oil, 1/3 in the gas and 1/3 through a vaccum line, then change the oil

  • @black96fire No, you are supposed to put one can in a full tank of gas, half in the oil and half in the vacuum line.

  • seafoam also isnt for cars with 75,000 plus miles....unless you have been using it regularly before.

  • why

  • Because it can/will break lose carbon deposites off various parts of your engines and land them in other places of your engine you wouldnt want them to end up. Seafoam is the kinda thing where one guy swears by it, and the other guy fucks up his engine.

  • @1969MustangMACH1 HHHmmmm ok buddy thanks, sounds like you just changed my mine cause im the guy that it would throw a rod trough the side of my block. i can't see how this wount dammage or cloge the cat .....or something worse.

  • i actually heard somewhere that seafomaing damages your cat, giving your a dirty o2 sensor signal. watch out...

  • not a big deal for cleaning an entire engine though. beats a tear down and rebuild

  • @tristantao on the site it says its not supposed to hurt your car or O2 sensor

  • @tristantao thats why u stay away from this shit.... and use RedLine SI-1

Cleans your injectors, valves, combustion chamber and fuel system!

  • @tristantao nop it doesnt arm your cat or the rest... ive been using that stuff for a long time on a lot of different car.

  • does anyone know if you need to do an oil change after you use seafoam THROUGH THE BRAKE BOOSTER VACUUM LINE? i know you have to do one shortly after you add it to engine oil or air intake but i'm not so sure about the brake booster vac line.

  • No. Unless you added it to your oil, there is no reason to do an oil change. The seafoam will be sucked into the intake manifold and then burned off by the combustion chamber. never coming into contact with the oil.

  • right on thanks dude. i just did it about an hour ago and added it through the pcv vacuum line. worked like a charm! smoked like a mofo (a little bit more than the sc in this vid). and it's good to know that i don't need to do another oil change considering i just did one this past weekend.

  • yeah no prob. You should try doing it about every 3,000-5,000 miles (if you can afford it) because one seafoaming wont clean all the crap out.

  • hey man how did your car perform after you added the sea foam on the brake booster line? i was thinking of doing it thru there considering i just got an oil change yesterday :(

  • What is the difference between this product and LUCUS ? engine treatment ??

  • Just to tell you guys your not supposed to let it stall out. Instructions from the can sitting here in front of me.

"SLOWLY induce 1/3 pint direct into fuel line, vacuum or air intake system, which feeds all cylinders. IMPORTANT: make sure system feed all cylinders and if in doubt, contact a certified technician. Turn ignition off. Restart engine after 5 minutes."

  • If you search for seafoam the company themselves have realesed a how too video and they say to stall the engine. This ensures that the seafoem gets everywhere.

  • Yeah your not suppose to stall the engine, your suppose to sip it up little by little trust me I worked in a shop and did this to probably over 100 different cars.

  • +1. i let it get sucked w/ a similar method while revving between 3-4k revs so it doesnt die

  • Seems like valve stem seals

  • that sounds hella nice!

  • wow u shouldnt suck it up real fast like that or let ur engine stall you can hydro lock your engine like that. next time suck it up slowly untill the engine starts to stumble but dont let it stall out.

  • You're supposed to stall it out, it's even in the instructions to do so.

  • flooding an engine with water is bad because water is virtually incompressible, petroleum distillates (seafoam) are much more compressible. plus that engine has a capacity of 4 liters, even if he pored the whole can (less than half a liter) into the engine he wouldn't be able to seize it up.

  • no fluid is compressible. water, engine oil, hydraulic fluid, seafoam, atf, coolant, doesn't matter. and half a liter could indeed damage the engine- each cylinder's half a liter, at the BOTTOM of the stroke. it's about a tenth of that at the top, plus the combustion chamber volume. not much room left there. . . . . . . .

  • sry i was wrong about the compressability part. But like you said each cylinder is .5 liters, and none of them are all sealed at the same time, plus that little bottle is distributed fairly evenly across all 8 cylinders, so a tiny bit over 2 oz per cylinder, assuming you can instantly fill each cylinder at once, and some of the stuff is burned off, hence the white smoke.

  • yeah it says to let it stall out, then let it sit, so its as full as it can be with the carbon eating goodness of seafoam, then start it up, it burns off

  • what is the point of this?

  • To clean out carbon build-up in your engine.

  • whai is the point of this?

it looks bad for the car...

  • can you do this in a diesel?

  • yup

  • yes you can i did it to mine and its awesome stuff

  • this sounds like a bad idea

  • Nice video. Though I wouldn't recommend revving your car so much.

  • You're not supposed to go fast.

    That "Half Pinoy" Kid,

    infused08

  • noob question: what does seafoam do?

  • Cleans carbon build up off intake/exhaust valves and out of the combustion chamber, intake manifold. Put it in your gas tank, it cleans the fuel system out better than any Fuel injection cleaner out there. Put in your oil for 50 miles or so it loosens stuck rings, valve lifters etc. (BUT CHANGE IT AFTER 50 MILES! NO LONGER THAN 500 or it will cause damage)

  • @jdang good question, yea waht does it do?

  • @jdang it cleans the carbon build up on the inside of the engine.

  • love the car...

  • dam that lexus sounds and looks nice

  • its not for looks dumbass shit cleans the hell out of the engine, but the smashing on the engine was a bit much

  • dude you use it to clean carbon out of the engine, not to look cool dumbass. Flames out of the exhaust? whats the point? get real

  • no shit sherlock. Its still fuckin stupid. People like u take up youtube space with pointless crap like this. haha.

    HI HATERS!!!

All u guys are bitches. get real cars. NISSAN LOVE!!!!!!

    nice SC though bro...

  • hahahaha wow.

  • I think the high RPMs may be overkill though. Seafoam will burn it's way out of there sooner or later. No need to get speeding tickets or blow the engine trying to burn out the Seafoam.

  • Does anyone know how all that crap effects your catalytic converter?

  • Lol i dont think it does at all. Only things like lead will poison the cat

  • Its supposed to be good for it, and clean it out some.

  • It is mainly just dissolved carbon deposits getting thrown out the pipes. Cat converters shouldn't be affected by this at all. Leaded gas however would do some damage.

I'd be more concerned with o2 sensors before the cats.

But then again seafoam hasn't done anything but good for mine so far...

  • you dont have to drive it around...doesnt really matter
