"I just got done laying out" ... Isn't that strictly for girls to say? Looks like an awesome experience. The 7th deck looks like heaven. So many pretty girls, all so friendly too! Good for you!
It's worth how expensive it is twice over... The on ship community is awesome plus going to all the countries is truly a once in a lifetime experience. “Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” Mark Twain
Wow. That was so cool man. Thanks for taking it. You are a really good tour guide. I felt like I was at home during your tour. The first time in the video that you see the water was really cool. I would be out side all the time. I can't believe how big the ship is. It's like a floating building. The pictures were cool too, and I liked your favorite rocks exhibit! haha
What is this? Like a college at sea or something? If so, i went to the wrong damn college! couldn't afford it anyway, the best i got was a weak ass community college.
Thank you so much for posting this! This is an awesome video! GREAT job! I am hoping to apply for the Summer 2011 voyage within the next few weeks and this video just makes me even more eager to go!
@hobbit2007 depends. fall and spring are 21-33k. summers are about 11k which are 60-75 days.but if you just go for 20 to 30 days out the summer its about 3-4 grand, which is a pretty good steal. im going to do it summer 2012.hopefully ill get to do it for 60-75 days. =]
@xXRhonnettXx This winter Semester at Sea is doing a pilot program for high school students. It will be a shorter voyage and the students will have chaperones when they are in port.
its realy good its realy mazng nice people but i had a junior suite for fall and spring and it was $31,000 dollars for eevrything it wasnt bad teachers were very nice
Must be a great experience. My son is only 13 months old and I would plan such a trip for him. The staff all wave to the camera. I guess they are instructed to do so.
THANK YOU!!!!!! I am going to be on this summer's voyage and I was soooo happy to find this inside look at everything! Pictures only tell you so much. I know it is going to be amazing! Looks like you made a lot of friends.
Great video! super informative. I am just wondering what the drinking policies are on the ship.. it sounds unimportant but if i am going to possibly be on this ship for a whole semester i would like to know!
Nice! Thanks for posting this. The Semester @ Sea program is wonderful. I went in the spring of 1967 when Chapman College ran the program and it changed my view of life and the world. Forty one years later I two of my classmates are still very good friends.
There was no problem transferring credits.
I still love peanut butter.
I've talked to hundreds of people about my experience and my daughter has applied for the Summer 2009 program.
this isnt the same ship that just sank, but i guess they have the same name.the ship that just sank was kind of crappy, this ship is really nice, plus this ship is a lot bigger.
very nice ship too bad its gone.. what happened? a fist sized hole is not going to sink a ship with double hulls . we're not getting the whole story ...better believe it!!
haha totally forgot about that familiar "bell" sound... not to mention the runny salad dressings in the salad bar. Still SAS was the best time of my life!
Your name is zack and theres a zack from the suite life on deck. Both zacks are ay a sea school!!!

@Classified978 No it hasn't,your thinking of the MS explorer this is the MV.
cappy032 1 year ago
@cappy032, the prefix is hardly ever part of the name of the ship. MV and MS are interchangeable, so the ships just have the same name.
