you should work for fed ex and video what they do to packages that say "FRAGILE"

I have seen workers there purposely toss and slam packages so it was probably done when loading the truck "just for fun".!!!!!!!!

With 21 years with no accidents and knowing other fed ex frt. drivers with 20+ years no accidents and 3 drivers with 3 million miles no accidents. Most truck accidents are caused by cars, look into a program called T.A.C.T

Why would local trucks be in most of the accidents? Because local truck are around in freeway and city traffic more then most long hall truckers. I was with a LTL company once in gardena and had to drive to san diego every morning; the freeway driving at 430am wasnt hard it was the city driving during the day and the traffic on the freeway at 5pm. Cars weaving in and out cutting me and other people off.

I used to work for Fed Ex Freight and found that they fill their road driver positions by seniority instead of qualifications, SOOOO, If you have been there long enough and have a CDL, you get to drive a SET. They do qualify their drivers, BUT it still goes by seniority.

Fact, Tn did a study wanting to know what types of trucks are involve in most accidents. Finding, local trucks account for 97% of all highway crashes. It was found that most driver that run in a 600 have the highest fatality rate than those that drive over the road. This includes the FedEx trucks which are LTL carriers.
