Do you think the brand or model of a bass is important as far as the sound?

yea, if you go to a music store for example sam ash and play some basses you will notice the difference in sounds between different basses

I guess so. The brand of strings are important also. Apparently Hartke makes the best bass amplifiers. Wich do you think is best Fender Brownsville, Squier or Ibanez?

to be honest it comes down to what you feel most comfortable with, although i do believe any bass over 400-500 dollars is a descent bass, after that i think its all about comfort and what ever sound you like to hear. For instance my bass was around 400 dollars but i liked its sound and its feel better then some more of the expensive basses.

its at 15 frames per second and youtube recommends 30 frames per second but when i recorded one at 30 frames per second the file was over 100mb so i could upload the 30 frame per second video so thats why its delayed, kinda sucks

the bass is an Ibanez SRX400 and the amp is a Peavey 115 combo, but the old style one with 200 watts
