I've spent many vacations along Mississippi, Dauphin Island and Florida beaches. All quite nice. Being from Louisiana, seeing these results I've got to say, leaves me totally livid. I can only wonder how bad it must be in my Home state. All 4 members of ProjectGulfImpact last I heard were gravely ill. Pensacola Gregg had a bout with Blue Flu as did WVPRadio's Michael Edward. I'm exhausted all the time but am worried more about my elderly Mother. To think BP is getting away with this is WRONG!
@nicpetrykowskis even small quantities of pollutants affect the fish larvae. even legal drugs are detectable in the ocean. (they come from sewage plants that cannot remove them from the "cleaned" water that is pumped into the ocean.)
You are accurate only if they poured the chemical into the ocean not containing oil. They sprayed the oil with corexit, it is the combination of oil and corexit which creates the problem. I work in the automotive industry, I don’t care what chemical is mixed with oil, there will always be an oily mixture that remains in the end, A combination of both products remain.
PLEASE go to Louisiana, soak in the ocean, cover yourself with the sand, bathe in the oil, rinse your mouth with sea water several times, eat plenty of local shellfish, spray yourself with corexit, you can be the Guinea pig. I truly want to see what happens. We will see if it’s bs.

Has there been any followup on this? We still see oil balls and strange brown foam all over the Gulf.

Now i know why a bottle of Oxygen is that expensive.
If they go further on this way, we all have to buy a bottle of Oxygen. The lowest level of O2 for humans is something between 12% and 18%.
