  • Dessay dessay dessay..also i recommend Hoch and Hallstein. Likely those three were the only ones who truly achieved the power of this aria. The others came quite close, Alarie, Moser, Gruberova, Vidal but Dessay wins this.

  • de 6:48 à 6:59 nan mais c'est impressionnant! J'ai failli tomber de ma chaise en écoutant cela sur mon cd!

  • je l'aime!

  • The only soprano who sings this aria quite so hard

  • @augustethomas she's not he only one: did you heard Edita gruberova in this aria? she gorgeous..

  • @fleurdefeu57 Yes, I heard Edita Gruberova. It also found it amazing, but note well, there are small details in Natalie Dessay, like perfection in sequence of notes to the G6, which is very clean and velvety. Both are excellent, but for this aria, I believe that Natalie Dessay be able to play a little better that the Edita. But they are divas, two, and that's undeniable.

  • dios, que pedazo de tia...

  • @EmmoWHAT...I'm assuming around the same time her concert aria CD came out, so like 98ish?

Also, I love how when she was younger, her face always stayed practically expressionless when she hit those high notes. Like she's thinking "oh what? I'm up high? really?"

  • She's unbelievable! What year is this recording from?

  • Wow!!! I found my new favorite singer!!!! What a beautiful amazing clear angelic tone, what a voice!!!!

  • this is what made me love opera
